Great value from Tesco's value bleach (Tesco Bleach)

Advantages: Cheap, effective, ideal for the kitchen

Disadvantages: Not so good in the bathroom

The Tesco value bleach is great addition to the value range - at less than 50p for a two litre bottle it is very cheap compared to other bleach's. However to be real value in my eyes it needs to be cheap and effective.

This bleach is value based on this criteria. It is a thin bleach so do be careful when you are pouring it out that it doesn't splash - there is nothing worse than seeing little white dots down the fron of your T-Shirt!

I use this bleach mostly in the kitchen - a tend to leave my cleaning clothes in a weak solution of the bleach and water overnight so that by the morning they are nice an clean again - but the bleach isn't too strong so as to dissolve the cloths. I also use it to clean my vases out easily - once again I just leave a solution of the bleach in the vase overnight and by the morning they are lovely and clean again.

The bottle comes with the standard safety cap and mysteriously also has a produced on date together with a use-by date typically 2 years after manufacture - I didn't know bleach could go off!

This bleach is ideal for the kitchen - cloths, cleaning mugs and vases, putting down the sink but I wouldn't recommend it for the bathroom - I think thicker bleaches and specialist cleaners are better here.
