Advantages: kill germs

Disadvantages: not as good as domestos

I always make sure that i have some bleach to hand in my cleaning cupboard. Its useful for keeping kitchen surfaces and floor germ-free aswell as bleaching the bathroom and loo. I prefer the thick bleaches rather than the thin varieties so i normally buy domestos or parozone if either are on offer as they normally are at tesco, but i also find myself buying the tesco own brand bleach from time to time too. The bleach which i have in front of me is a yellow (citrus fragrance) 750ml plastic bottle with the usual toilet rim neck. It cost around 70p so is a bit cheaper than domestos or parozone or say a harpic or toilet duck cleaner, but since bleach is bleach it works its great germ killing magic just aswell as the leading brands. The back of the bottle has a list of the usual precautions aswell as directions for use for mopping, sinks and the loo. I have nearly finished this bottle now which has lasted me the best part of a month, which is good since i use it in my kitchen daily and bathroom weekly. In the kitchen i use it to clean the floor when its needed to and leaves the floor sparkling without leaving a sticky feeling underfoot. Every night i also wipe down the surfaces with a clothe and squirt some bleach down the drains to ensure my kitchen is relatively germ free. In the bathroom i also use it on a weekly basis to clean the floor and to give the basin and bath a good bleaching once a week. In between during the week i normally spray down the basin a couple of times a week with a dettol or mr muscle cleaner. In my loo i normally use a toilet duck or a harpic cleaner during the week but i do like to use a thick bleach on my main bathroom clean just for clinical germ kill reassurance. The bleach is thinner than that of domestos but it is still thick enough to hang round for an hour so before i return to flush the loo clean leaving the bowl sparkling, the water foaming and the germs killed. So overall i would recommend buying this if you are perhaps on a budget or not swayed by the adertising campaigns of say domestos or parozone, buts its not as good domestos which is thicker, not as strong smelling and the bottle last longer.

Summary: bye bye germs!
