... this with a lot of clingfilms is that it can sometimes get caught with the edge of it sticking and I have to go back and unwind it all, a job which I hate! That said, I found this to be a worse problem with cheaper brands especially the value brand. All in all, I now always purchase this Tesco clingfilm after having so many negative experiences with cheaper ones. There is probably even better on the shelves, but for the price you pay you are getting value for money....more

Tesco Cling Film: Wrapped upin this Film (292 words)

Tesco Cling Film is something which we use on a really regular basis and we always have some in our kitchen cupboards. We use it most days for wrapping sandwiches and other food stuffs up for me for work and my other half and our son for lunch boxes Tesco Cling Film is particularly good in my personal opinion because you have a great choice of sizes. The film is housed in a long thin cardboard tube / box with a cutting edge running along the side so you can pull it out and simple take off as much or as little as you actually want to use. It can be a bit awkard as the teeth on the cutting edge lose their ability to cut well after a bit I feel and I often resort ...  Read the complete review

The film that really clings! (584 words)

Cling film, what a clever invention this stuff really is, it can be used for so many different things and personally I am never without a roll of this in my cupboard, a roll of this lives alongside my kitchen foil and greaseproof paper and I am never without any of them. Even this Tesco Cling Film is worth the money I pay for it. ~Tesco Cling Film~ For around £3.00 I can buy a 100m roll of cling film which is about 35cm wide, all wrapped neatly and tightly on the cardboard tube inside the cardboard box which has quite a sharp serrated edge in which to cut the cling film, which I might add is of really good quality. I can pull the cling film easily ...  Read the complete review

Cling film is a product that I use most days and as such always make sure that I have some. I have been using this Tesco own brand for a few years now as it does the job at a reasonable price. The box This cling film comes in a cardboard box with a few features to make using it easier. First of all you can press in either end of the box to act as a roll holder. This isn't as simple as it sounds as although the cardboard is perforated it doesn't depress easily but once you have achieved this it does hold the roll in place. Another feature you which you would expect on a cling film box is a cutting edge. The one on this box is made of cardboard and ...  Read the complete review

Tesco clingfilm - a pretty good cling option (429 words)

At times in a bid to reduce my weekly shopping bill I have tried cheaper cling film options, including the Tesco value range, and to be honest, I only ever buy them once as I am so disappointed with them, and always end up back with the main Tesco clingfilm, which I think is a good value option for a decent cling. I'm sure there are better, more expensive options in terms of clingfilm on the shelves, but I am not willing to pay those premiums and so this is a compromise. A 50m roll of Tesco clingfilm costs just over £2, which is an average price. As you can see from the picture above the clingfilm comes in a light box and you can purchase this in a roll of ...  Read the complete review
