Tesco value dishcloths

I do most of my shopping online at Tesco and because I find their everyday value products to be good value for money (as they are meant to be!) I try out a lot of the products.

The dishcloths come in a pack of 5, basically wrapped and with a label on the front telling me what they are and not much else, but that's fine with me. They are rectangular in shape and made from recycled yarn. Whilst not the thickest dish cloths I have ever used, they are doubled over and although the corners are a bit untidy looking, I'm not especially interested in the visuals of a dishcloth.

The dishcloths can be used for all of the uses a dishcloth is commonly used for including washing up, cleaning with spray cleaners and polish, as well as other household jobs. Once used and in need of a wash the information tells me that I can wash the cloths at 40 degrees. I have also washed them on a hotter whites wash and they have survived and gone on to do more cleaning jobs.

The dishcloths are available from Tesco stores and online at www.tesco.com and cost 75p for 5 cloths so for 15p a cloth, they do represent great value.

VERDICT...

The dishcloths are very cheap and whilst not the most visually appealing dishcloths they are decent enough and thick enough to be perfectly adequate for several cleaning jobs. I tend to be a bit heavy handed with cleaning products and use and wash dishcloths very frequently, so although these did eventually get holey, they are not really any better or worse than other dishcloths I have bought. The main disadvantage I think is the fact that they are quite thin and almost scratchy.

Recommended for anyone who wants decent dishcloths at a tremendous price.
