Tesco Everyday Value Dishcloths
Advantages: Do the job they're meant for
Disadvantages: not the best
We go through so many cleaning products at the moment. Mrs B is really taking cleaning seriously now she has a bit more time with Little B being at preschool and baby B having some good long naps! She is a little funny about cleaning cloths and sponges, once they are dirty she doesn't like to reuse them and tends to just throw them away so we have to source products which are as cheap as possible.
These Tesco Value dish cloths are a great answer for us. They work out at 15p each. In each pack you get 5 which is good, we usually buy two packs at a time. They are 75p for the pack which is such a bargain. We also buy Tesco Value scourer sponges too and between them these products really help with cleaning purposes.
In this pack you get 5 cloths. They are white and a fairly decent size. They do not seem as dense as other dish cloths we've used before but I guess this is why these are so much cheaper. The fact that they're not as dense is actually a good thing in my eyes, it means they're easier to use because you can get them into smaller places with them being thinner.
They absorb and hold water well so when cleaning they are really good and they are also good for mopping up little spillages too as they can absorb it.
We tend to use these mainly to help with washing up and then we rinse them after doing so. Usually they last about two weeks before Mrs B decides they've had enough. They tend to get a bit tatty and discolour. You can clean these in a washing machine but Mrs B doesn't like to do that and when I tried they lost their shape and looked even more tatty so I don't think these will withstand lots of washes at all!
They are soft so good for washing up but they are not great for washing up more tough things- that is where the scourer sponges come in!
In conclusion these are so cheap and you can tell but they work really well especially as we just use them for a set period and then throw them away anyway. They clean well and do the job that we've bought them for so although they're not perfect I am giving them 5 stars.
Summary: aye they're ok
