I think this is a nightmare!!! That's the third time poor Erin (my 11 year old daughter) has been up during the night to be sick. The first two times she made it to the bathroom but the third time, having a cabin bed, by the time she had mastered the steps down to the floor the sickness had erupted - all over her bed covers, the steps to her bed and all over the carpet. I stripped the bed in my zombie like state, changed her for the third time, scrubbed the carpet (or so I thought) before falling back into bed. Next morning I went into Erin's room to open the curtains only to be met by the terrible smell of sickness and stains all over the carpet yuk!!....... ... Read the complete review

I went in to Tesco with the view that I was definitely going to buy some Febreze. Unlike the other reviews this was with the sole purpose of stopping the smell of my boyfriends football kit spreading to the rest of the flat in the time between coming home from football and a wash being put on. It's too late when he gets home at 8pm to start the washing machine so I needed something to cover up the smell during that time. I went to the detergent isle in Tesco and had a look. Febreze has quite a good selection of fragrances but at about three pounds it was a bit pricey. The Tesco Fabric Freshener looked fairly similar packaging-wise to the Febreze, the ... I wanted to try and reduce the costs of some household products so switched from febreeze - currently costing £2.00 - to tesco fabric freshener at £0.69. The bottle has a trigger activated nozzle - you just need to turn the nozzle to the on position and spray. My main reason for using this is actually to freshen up the sofas in the front room in the morning. As a smoker (tut tut yes i know that means I'm virtually a criminal!!) my front room can whiff a bit in the morning after the windows have been closed all night so I tend to open the windows and spray away. I dont spray too close to the sofa or fabric - the bottle advices 15 to 30cm away and ... Read the complete review

With my little granddaughter spending more and more time at my house, I was spending more and more money on Fabreze to get rid of those nasty niffs that little kids leave behind them such as sick or poo. Fabreze in case anyone does not know is a fabric freshener rather than an air freshener and it is not cheap so when I was in Tesco recently and saw they made their own brand version of it I thought why not give it a go. It appears to have been a wise move because not only is the Tesco brand exactly £2 cheaper than the Fabreze, with the Tesco brand being 79p and Fabreze being £2.79 for the same sized bottle but the Tesco brand smells just as nice and does ... I recently bought this to cover up nasty smells on my soft furnishings (usually the fault of children or husband!) as it is a real hassle to take the covers off my sofas to wash them and I don't want to be doing it too often. I chose the tesco one as it was about a third of the price of Febreeze and usually I find tesco own brand cleaning products to be just as good as the leading brands. The instructions say to spray until the fabric is damp, which means you need to put quite a lot on. The kids did complain about the sofa being wet and I'm sure it's not neccesary to use so much. But this would be fine if it weren't for the smell being so strong. I ... Read the complete review
