Advantages: A beautiful fresh fragrance, cheap price

Disadvantages: None

I think this is a nightmare!!! That's the third time poor Erin (my 11 year old daughter) has been up during the night to be sick. The first two times she made it to the bathroom but the third time, having a cabin bed, by the time she had mastered the steps down to the floor the sickness had erupted - all over her bed covers, the steps to her bed and all over the carpet. I stripped the bed in my zombie like state, changed her for the third time, scrubbed the carpet (or so I thought) before falling back into bed. Next morning I went into Erin's room to open the curtains only to be met by the terrible smell of sickness and stains all over the carpet yuk!!.......

Down on my hands and knees I scrubbed the stains with disinfectant until they were all gone but the smell was still lingering so I decided to go to Tesco to buy some Febreeze. On finding the Febreeze I was shocked to see a 500ml bottle with a £2.79 price tag, when sitting on the shelf proudly next to it was Tesco's own Fabric Freshener also in a 500ml bottle but with a much more appealing price tag of £0.78. Being a sucker for a bargain this I had to try.

I couldn't wait to get home to try it out! I went into Erin's room to the lovely clean but a bit niffy carpet and happily sprayed evenly from a distance of 15-30cm (as instructed). The first thing I noticed was the beautiful fresh floral fragrance, very appealing. You are instructed to spray evenly until the fabric is slightly damp and then leave to dry. I was so impressed by the beautiful smell I sprayed it on her curtains as well!! And then proceeded to spray all the other carpets in the house, the curtains and the settees!!! What a lovely, fresh, floral, outdoor fragrance filled my home.

I first sprayed the Fabric Freshener at 3.30pm and was out of the house until 9.30pm. I was very pleasantly surprised on my return home to find the house still smelling beautiful and fresh. The next day, although the room didn't actually smell of the fragrance any longer Erin's carpet did (after a sniff test!)

The Tesco Fabric Freshener comes in a 500ml plastic bottle with spray nozzle and lever. It is easy to hold and to spray. It is suitable for most fabrics, although if you are worried you can test on a small hidden area first and it should not be used on suede or leather. You should always keep out of the reach of children, keep away from eyes and try to avoid contact with the skin. If it does come into contact with the skin then you should wash off. Oh and don't forget to turn the nozzle to the off position when you are finished!

I would definitely recommend this product for its freshening power, it does what it supposed to do and at a great price.

Well done Tesco.

Sorry for the very graphic details and the stomach churning description but I needed to get over the type of odours this product is able to get rid of!
