Advantages: Cheaper than other brands

In a bid to lower our shopping expenses, we decided to try this loo roll to see what it's like. However, unfortunately we regretted it.

The packaging is light blue in colour and has a pale pink flower in the bottom left hand corner. The wrapper states that it's now softer and thicker than before, although if this was an improvement I hate to think what it was like before!

The packaging looks nice and draws you to it but then when you get it home, the quality of each of the rolls was rather different to the rest of them. No two rolls were even slightly the same which was very disappointing. We thought it may have just been a dodgy pack and so we tried it again but the same was said about the second lot.

We also found that it blocked our toilet because some of the rolls were so thick that even water couldnt get through the paper very easily. Other rolls in the same pack just fell apart when you touched them, though. I'm sure you can imagine how annoying this would be! We didnt find it particularly soft as it says it should be on the packaging either.

This was rather frustrating because it was supposed to be a reasonable product that was better quality than their 'Value' packs, yet it seemed horrific. Normally, home brand things from Tesco are fine but this was just awful.

In the end, we actually decided to use the "Tesco Value Toilet Roll" because it has a better quality than this one does.

Summary: I wouldnt use this again
