“ Brand: Tesco / Type: Liquid Laundry Detergent / Category: Laundry „
I have always found it a nightmare when it comes to buying laundry detergents as with me having sensitive skin, it always seems that they seem to irritate my skin. This is why I decided to give this Tesco Naturally range a try, as with it being natural and using ingredients from natural products, I hoped that this would be more gentle and kind on my skin and maybe not bring my skin out in a rash. I have been using the fabric conditioner for a while now so to use this with it seemed ideal and I do like a liquid detergent rather than tablets that they also do. PACKAGING The Naturally range all seems to come in quite basic and simple looking packaging. The 1.5L is the size I got, I think it's the only size and it has the Naturally logo and is in brown and green type to keep in with the idea of natural elements. It says on the front that this will do 19 washes and that it is a Non Bio liquid detergent. Also it says what it does and has a bright green lid which you will use for pouring the liquid into the machine. The bottle is big and has a handle to make it easy to hold. The reverse has ingredients and directions of use. WARNINGS This liquid detergent should be kept out of use of children and if it gets into contact with eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical attention. Hands should be washed thoroughly after use and those with sensitive or damaged skin should avoid prolonged contact with this liquid. Lastly it just says to ensure you follow garment instructions. LIQUID DETERGENT Now, to use this it is very easy and it tells you on the bottle all instructions for different water hardness. This detergent has cleaning ingredients derived from plant extracts. It is also effective at low temperatures and has no enzymes, phosphates or optical brighteners. This is suitable for septic tanks and has no synthetic colours as well that the bottle and cap can be recycled where possible. To open the lid it pretty much smells soapy like most detergents and really fresh there is not a lot else to describe. The liquid is a clear liquid with a runny consistency and for a normal wash it states to use 1 capful which is 40ml for a typical 4-5kg wash. If you are using this for a handwash then dissolve 1-2 capfuls in 10 litres of water and store this upright in a cool place. I use this detergent for both machine washes and handwashes and so far the results have been good on both. When it comes to washing I have used this on clothes with stains, light and dark washes and small to heavy loads and everytime no matter how many items, all of them come out smelling fresh, clean and looking bright if coloured and white if not. The liquid is easy to use I literally just pour a capful into the machine along with my softener and turn it on and leave it to go. The stains always come out of my washes everytime and they do smell clean which is just what I want. They don't smell too strong either but just enough to know that they have just been washed. I find this bottle is quite full even though I have done a number of washes, it still seems to be going which is great value for money. With handwashes I also use a capful and the water foams up and again the clothes smell clean and it works just as effectively. I think this is a fantastic detergent and I really do like the fact it is natural and I have had no skin irritation whatsoever since I have been using this again. The detergent is good to my clothes and to my skin and leaves garments looking clean and I have no bad words to say about this. The recommended amount does the cleaning and it is a good price as well. COST This detergent is only sold at Tesco and for the big 1.5L bottle it will cost you normally £4.09 but until Monday the 18th July it is on offer for £3 and has been for about a month or so now which is why I stocked up as it is great for £3.
