      Advantages

      Disadvantages

5/5 a great washing liquid, I wouldn't expect more for the price.

When it comes to cleaning product I aren't brand loyal and I tend to buy what's on offer at the time. About 18 months ago now there were no decent offers on the brands of washing liquid I usually go for but I noticed that Tesco's own label Concentrated Bio Liquid was on offer so I thought I would give it a try. The liquid is priced at £2.85 for 630ml or 21 washes; it's regularly on offer though for two bottles for £4, so a £1.70 saving which is my opinion is very good. I really like Tesco Concentrated Bio Liquid so I tend to get it if I see it's on offer even if I don't need it because it's always good to have it. The offer price means that this liquid is just under 10p a wash which is a brilliant price even when you compare it with the best offers on other brands.

As mentioned before the liquid comes in 630ml plastic bottle with a plastic wrap around green label. The plastic lid screws off and doubles up as a measuring cup for dispensing the liquid; the liquid is easy to pour as the bottle neck is slightly raised into the cap making a lip from which to pour. When pouring the liquid you immediately notice that it's a bright green colour, as it's concentrated it's quite thick in consistency but it's still thin enough to pour freely out of the bottle and is easy to measure out without any mess or fuss. Before it goes in the washing machine the liquid has a lovely clean and fresh smell, it's a little overpowering before use but I didn't let this put me off as I knew the scent would be softer after washing.

For normal water areas it's recommended that you use a capful of liquid for a normal sized wash with an extra half a cap for hard water areas. It is also suggested that it you have a really bad stain that you scrub the liquid onto the affected area before washing. As most of our everyday clothing just needs freshening up and not cleaning as such I usually don't put a full cap in with my washing and I always notice how lovely and fresh it smells and it looks nice and clean too. Even after my clothes have been hanging up for a few days when I go to wear them I still notice the lovely fresh scent from the liquid. Obviously sometimes there are items which have marks on them but for these items I just put the recommended dose in and I always find that they come up really well and very rarely have I had problems with a stain not coming out. As I've mentioned in other reviews my partner is a chef and comes home with very dirty whites, although this washing liquid does get the majority of the marks out it can't tackle them all even when I rub it directly onto the affected area. I can't mark it down though as I haven't found any washing liquid which has removed all the stains for this work clothing and I do tend to bleach them once every week or so.

Overall, I would really recommend Tesco Concentrated Bio Liquid. It's a great price, especially on offer and is really concentrated and powerful so I find it lasts longer than the suggested 21 washes. It freshens and cleans clothes with ease and gets rid of the majority of stains really well. This is something I continue to buy and will do for a long time to come.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Good buy

This is a review of Tesco Bio Liquid which I bought recently to try as it said on the bottle that it was tough on stains and provided brilliant cleaning. The first thing I noticed was that it was quite a small and light bottle yet it promised 21 washes which I thought was pretty good.

        First impressions
Inside the bottle, the liquid detergent is bright green. I don't know why that surprised me really as the bottle and lid are green but I think this is the first time I have used a green one!

        Packaging
The bottle is white with a full wrap around label and it has a green screw cap lid which also acts as the measure for the liquid. The bottle is 630ml and very compact.

        In use
With this product it is best used in the drawer of the washing machine and for problem stains you can rub the liquid directly on to the stain (but then wash it immediately). I found the product to be quite strong smelling, but a clean smell too. It made the laundry smell nice and fresh when it came out of the washing machine. The one thing to note about this is how thick it is - more of a gel than a liquid and it can come out in a bigger amount than planned so pour carefully or you won't be getting 21 washes out of your bottle. I made this mistake the first time I used it but was careful thereafter.

        Performance
I have had no problems with this liquid detergent. It tackles the stains on things that are heavily soiled (like bibs) really well and has generally worked to a high standard on all our clothes and bedding.

        Price
At the moment, this is retailing at Tesco for £2.00 a bottle which I think is great value for money.

        Final word
I will definitely buy this again. I like how many washes you can get out of a small bottle and it is easy to carry home from the supermarket. I am getting more of a fan of these liquid detergents and although we still use powder regularly I usually opt for the liquids now when setting a wash off.
