Having an elderly dog in the house means that I tend to get through quite a lot of air freshener. The reasons for this are clear without the need to go into specific details on the subject. So, I thought I might try to save some of that all important money and buy Tesco's Value Air Freshener. There is nothing exciting about the packaging. It is white with blue stripes and carries a price tag of just 30 pence. This is a big saving against the Haze Air Fresheners that range from around £1.70 upwards. I debated for a while and then decided that it must be worth a try. After all, I had always brainwashed my children into agreeing that 'We like yoghurt, ... Read the complete review

I watched a TV programme recently which extolled the virtues of buying supermarket branded products over big brand names, with the arguement being that even the no-frills brands can be as good, if not as luxurious. I've had a few successes (Asda crisps are lovely, different to Walkers but definitely as good) and some failures (Sainsbury's no-frills bread... eugh...), so when I spotted Tesco Value Air Freshener priced at just 30p I decided to give it a whirl. It's awful. I won't keep you in suspense, it really is the most appalling thing. You pay 30p for air freshener, you get a product worth 30p. The tin is horrible, it's vile. You ... Tesco Value Air freshener......... Another Tesco Product up for trial and this time it is the Tesco Value Air Freshener. It comes in at 30 pence a can and for this you get 300ml of the product. This price is pretty cheap and is the cheapest available to buy in the Tesco store with the next cheapest one coming in at around the 70 pence mark. I decided to give it a try. The packaging of the air freshener is very basic and what you would expect when buying a value product. The whole can is white in colour with only the information of ingredients etc printed on the back and the Tesco value stripes across the front. The nozzle of the ... Read the complete review

I tend to live in my bedroom. Living with the parents it's the only space that is my own and I love it, it's my little corner of the world! However no matter how clean I and my bedroom are from time to time it doesn't smell as fresh as it possibly could. Sure I open the windows and stuff but I am guilty of occasionally eating in my room whilst watching tv and I do smoke (even though it's out of the window) lol. So I resort to air fresheners to stay smelling sweet. I usually buy decent one's. By that I mean the brands we've all heard of.... however of late I've been a bit skint so in general stuff I have been buying is economy and I'm working hard at cutting my ... I must say these Tesco Value products are very good, although some air fresheners are nothing more than a piece of absorbent material, soaked in some liquid, which is designed to give off a smell masking odours. Having said that, the idea actually does work, your kitchen, dining room, or wherever does actually smell better after using one of tesco's finest but very cheap gizmos. This particular version is an aerosol, and although not exactly green, it is a cheap alternative to more expensive other brands. You can also buy the same thing, but not from the Value range, however there is little to choose between them, and the price difference is only ... Read the complete review
