I must say these Tesco Value products are very good, although some air fresheners are nothing more than a piece of absorbent material, soaked in some liquid, which is designed to give off a smell masking odours. Having said that, the idea actually does work, your kitchen, dining room, or wherever does actually smell better after using one of tesco's finest but very cheap gizmos. This particular version is an aerosol, and although not exactly green, it is a cheap alternative to more expensive other brands. Having an elderly dog in the house means that I tend to get through quite a lot of air freshener. The reasons for this are clear without the need to go into specific details on the subject. So, I thought I might try to save some of that all important money and buy Tesco's Value Air Freshener. There is nothing exciting about the packaging. It is white with blue stripes and carries a price tag of just 30 pence. This is a big saving against the Haze Air Fresheners that range from around £1.70 upwards. I watched a TV programme recently which extolled the virtues of buying supermarket branded products over big brand names, with the arguement being that even the no-frills brands can be as good, if not as luxurious. I've had a few successes (Asda crisps are lovely, different to Walkers but definitely as good) and some failures (Sainsbury's no-frills bread... eugh...), so when I spotted Tesco Value Air Freshener priced at just 30p I decided to give it a whirl.
