Covering food is essential to keep flies etc from landing on food in the kitchen as we all know only too well. I had never bought this wrap before and because it was so cheap I decided to give it a try.

It comes housed inside a long cardboard box, the cling film is wrapped around a cardboard tube and is quite a strong tube. The wrap is quite thin and clear. I found it was very difficult to pull it from the tube. I found I had to keep on pulling to find a beginning to start the process. Very annoying to say the least with this one. Once it is opened, the wrap is very flimsy indeed. I find that when I stretch it out to then cut it, it tends to just flop and I found it is very difficult to cut it or break it to then use.

When I finally have cut it and then placed it over my food I find that it covers fairly ok but it does not stick to the dishes etc as good as a branded one. I find that when I wrapped sandwiches with it, it did not seem to hold together very well and so my sandwiches were not as fresh as I'd have liked them to be. That is the purpose of using a wrap to keep food fresher and to cover from germs etc but this one I found not to be so good. I found that I just covered the food over the top with the wrap and not press it around the dish etc because it was just a waste of time.

I find the quality of this wrap very poor, I do not even think it is very good value for the money, even at a 40p I still think it could be much better value but I guess that is expected with some products that they are not as good as others.

There are 45 metres on the tube and that is quite a lot but considering a lot of it had been wasted most of the time, I do not think it is worth the money at all.

It seems to just constantly curl around the hands while trying to cover food etc and I found it to be that annoying I actually threw the remaining in my recycle bin after a couple of days and that is not something that I do very often but this one I just could not use any longer. Id rather use a plastic food bag or foil than use this wrap.

I would not recommend this wrap unless your budget is very low because I just think it is a complete waste of money and not worth the price. I would definitely never buy it again.
