When Tesco first started bringing out their Value Range I was a bit sceptical at buying anything, up until a few years ago I was very much a 'brand' person and also bought the best products on the market no matter what the cost. However since I am now a full time mother to three children and we have to get by on just my husbands wage I have become much more conscious about how much I spend on items in the weekly shop. However once I began to try a few of the value products I was pleasantly surprised at how good products were, it is amazing that they can sell items so cheaply. I have since tried many of Tesco's value products and where as some I tried once ... Read the complete review

I've used this furniture polish for some time now, and it wasn't in a bid to save money but quite simply because it's the only one on the market which doesn't affect my asthma and have me reaching for my nebuliser after polishing my wooden furniture. It does a very good job too leaving my furniture looking dust free with a lovely shine to it. I usually spray it onto the duster before wiping it across the surfaces because I find if sprayed directly onto varnished areas then it does leave a white slightly scummy mark which takes some elbow grease to rub away! The aerosol spray is as good as any other polish I've used, it can be pressed down with ... Read the complete review

I, like most people, am currently being as careful with my money as possible and this involves looking at everything I am spending and trying to reduce costs wherever possible. One area that I would not normally scrimp on would be cleaning products and toiletries but recently this is changing and when I noticed a price difference between this product and my normal brand of over £1.00 I couldn't resist giving this value polish a try. The product is provided in a white aerosol can and is 300ml. It has a white lid and has the standard Tesco Value logo on it which shows that this is the bottom end of the price range (well, normally!). I used to be a ... Read the complete review

My wife is an absolute clean freak, I'm always telling her she cleans way too much! Her two favourite things are her Hoover and her polish; these are the two things she says she wouldn't be without. I swear we go through nearly a whole can of polish a week! I will on the odd occasion help her with the cleaning but it's never good enough (I expect it's the same for most men). I know we are all sick of hearing about the credit crunch but to be honest with the raise in prices in the supermarkets we all do have to watch the pennies and tighten our belts. When shopping me and my wife have been swapping some of our more expensive brands to the cheaper versions like the ... Read the complete review

having read several mixed reviews about the tesco value range on dooyoo I decided that I would pop a few items in my tesco.com shopping basket to try and save some money. amongst the items I bought was a 300 ml can of value furniture polish for 31p I've always used pledge or mr sheen for our wooden furniture as it has great sentimental value so was a bit wary at first as this was so cheap but now I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner as I'm really pleased with the results! the can doesn't look very exciting - in fact I'll hide it in my cupboard - it's a tall basically white tin with the red & blue value colours with a plastic ...
