Allow your money to gather a little more dust and save yourself a few bob! (Tesco value Furniture Polish)

Advantages: Great for polishing, does the job, great price.

Disadvantages: Not the strongest scent.

I, like most people, am currently being as careful with my money as possible and this involves looking at everything I am spending and trying to reduce costs wherever possible.

One area that I would not normally scrimp on would be cleaning products and toiletries but recently this is changing and when I noticed a price difference between this product and my normal brand of over £1.00 I couldn't resist giving this value polish a try.

The product is provided in a white aerosol can and is 300ml. It has a white lid and has the standard Tesco Value logo on it which shows that this is the bottom end of the price range (well, normally!). I used to be a brand snob but recently more and more people I know are beginning to downgrade their products and buy the cheaper priced products.

To use this aerosol you simply just remove the lid and spray the aerosol 20-30cm away from the surface that you want to polish. I generally spray the polish on to a duster or similar cloth and then dust the surface that needs it rather than leaving lots of residue all over my tables or computer desk.

The product is not overly scented but considering it is 30p it has a very good scent. I don't mind if my house doesn't smell like I've just finished polishing, as long as it looks good that is just fine for me.

I would definitely recommend giving this product a try. As with all products like this I would advise giving the instructions a read beforehand so that you can be certain about what surfaces it can be used on and I would always advise testing a very small inconspicuous area a few hours before to make sure you aren't going to damage your priced possessions.

I have been very happy with the price and the fact that you are getting the same amount of product as most of the branded products for 1/4 of the price (or even better!). As the product does not have the strongest smell I will be rating it 4/5 but it cleans well and does the job that's required of it. I can't find any other faults for it at all.

Summary: I would recomend this as a replacement to your usual branded polish.
