Advantages: Only 31p a can, cleans as good as any other polish.

When Tesco first started bringing out their Value Range I was a bit sceptical at buying anything, up until a few years ago I was very much a 'brand' person and also bought the best products on the market no matter what the cost. However since I am now a full time mother to three children and we have to get by on just my husbands wage I have become much more conscious about how much I spend on items in the weekly shop.

However once I began to try a few of the value products I was pleasantly surprised at how good products were, it is amazing that they can sell items so cheaply. I have since tried many of Tesco's value products and where as some I tried once and never again, others I have found are great and buy them on a regular basis. Tesco Value Furniture Polish is one of these items.

When I saw the furniture polish for 31p for just 300ml I could not believe how cheap it was, I mean some of the popular brands of furniture polish can cost between £1.50 to £2. At just 31p it was definitely worth trying.

Tesco Value Furniture Polish comes in a white can with the Tesco Value logo on, it looks very plain but what can you expect at that price. You are required to shake the can before use, then holding the can upright you need to spray surfaces from a distance of 15-20cms. Then wipe immediately with a soft clean cloth. This is the way that I use it but you can also spray directly onto the cloth and polish as usual.

It says on the can "this polish has been formulated to enhance and help protect wood" and I agree that it does do this. After using now for quite a few months I have found that this polish is really good at cleaning. I use it all the wood surfaces in my house and think it is just as good as any other polish I have ever used. It smells awful but then I think most polishs smell horrible.

At 31p for just 300ml, a can size which lasts ages, I think this polish is very good value for money. It cleans and protects the wood to a standard as good as any other brand I have ever tried and I will continue to buy this polish for a long time to come.

Summary: Great value for money.
