Advantages: Cheap, good quality

Disadvantages: None

I have a huge stash of different cloths and scourers under my kitchen sink. They are so cheap, I tend to just chuck a packet in my trolley whilst shopping. Some of the dishcloths I have are these ones from The Tesco value range.

The dishcloths come in a transparent plastic bag and have the usual details listing on the packaging. Thy can be purchased from Tesco in store or online, whatever way you do the shopping. I think these cost me around the 75p mark when I last bought them. Each pack contains five individual dishcloths.

They look exactly as you would expect being white in colour and of a mesh material. The dishcloths have a nice size for what they are at approximately 22cm x 25cm. As they are so cheap and part of the Tesco value range you would think that they are lacking in quality and that really isn't the case with these. The thickness is ok, granted it's not the most thick dishcloth I have come across but at the same time it isn't the thinnest either. It feels snug in my hand when I'm holding it and doesn't feel like it's going to rip or tear when I am doing vigorous cleaning with it.

Although the main use for dishcloths is the washing up, I prefer a microfiber cloth for that chore so the dishcloths get used for other daily cleaning tasks such as wiping down the worktops, cleaning out the microwave, wiping over the hob etc. The dishcloths do these jobs well and I haven't encountered any problems so far. I do tend to fold the cloth over once just to give it a little more thickness, the area of dishcloth is then reduced but it's still easy to clean with.

The packaging states that the dishcloths can be washed in the washing machine on a 40 degree wash, as long as there isn't any other washing in there. However, I'm yet to test the dishcloths in the washing machine as they are so cheap I just throw them away. I have a huge stash in my cupboard so I'm never desperate to wash these.

I'd definitely recommend these dishcloths from the Tesco Value range, not only are they so cheap for the quantity you receive but they have a fantastic quality to them too.
