Advantages: cheap, mainly reliable

Disadvantages: can split too easily. need doubling up.

So, 30 bags for 79p....that works out at roughly 2.5p per bag. It would be a bargain if you didn't have to use 2 bags at a time as they are so flimsy. So it's more like 5p per bag. Which is STILL a great bargain.

The product itself is designed to sit in your bin and the theory is, you pull the bag out, tie it and pop it in your wheelie bin for refuse collection. Now, this review is based on a 24 year old man with no kids and a partner who is chemically unable to "rip cardboard up".

We tend to put large items in the bin such as ripped up newspapers, cereal boxes, packaging etc..and we only ever get to fill about 3/4 before a quick tug tells me its already too heavy.

Cue trying to lift it out of the bin and inevitably, something will protrude through the liner and plop onto the kitchen floor. Not good if said partner has just spent the afternoon mopping it.

I imagine that people with kids will probably go through one of these 30 packs in about the same time I get through 10. They can be quite sturdy when doubled up but they have zero strength and items do tend to rip through and weaken the bag.

Summary: Good cheap price but I've had too many splits to remember
