Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: Emptying My Sack (308 words)
by - written on 06/11/09 (Very useful, 24 readings)
Rating:

We seem to have to empty our bin nearly every day in our house. It is a massive bin as well. I have to question how these 'other people' manage to find huge boxes and wrappers to fill it up without fail every single day. I am usually lumbered with the task of emptying it. I don't mind doing this, provided I can open the bin and tie a quick knot at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Rubbish sacks that aren't rubbish! (360 words)

Rating:

We have a really large bin in our kitchen and even though lots of our rubbish is now recycled in the many bins the council seem to provide us with, we still seem to fill our big bin every 2 days meaning we use a lot of refuse sacks. We used to have just a small bin and I would use carrier bags to put in the bin but since we had children the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: Is the rubbish inside or outside? (270 words)
by - written on 18/10/09 (Very useful, 58 readings)

Tesco value refuse sacks cost 71p for 30 bag liners. This is cheaper than any other similar product and also cheaper than the equivalent refuse sacks from Somerfield, which cost 76p As all the value products, they are labelled in the usual Red blue and white colours. The bag liners are wrapped together and around them there is paper ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks - My Own Personal Experioence Of Us ... (216 words)
by - written on 27/09/09 (Useful, 16 readings)
Rating:

I used these extensively until recently when my local council started providing bags for free. As these were only about 70p per roll I did a bulk buy and bought 5 rolls in one go. To be honest, I really wish I hadn't. These bags just simply strong enough for day to day household waste and will tear easily and they allow and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: Rubbish, Rubbish (207 words)
by - written on 17/09/09 (Very useful, 22 readings)

I use a lot of tesco value products and usually they are just as good as branded names but I have to say that these refuse sacks are absolute rubbish. These bags cost around 71 pence for 30 bags and compared to others on the market this is very good value for money. However, I find that I can't fill these bags up as much as others and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Utterly rubbish for rubbish (370 words)
by - written on 08/09/09 (Very useful, 29 readings)
Rating:

I really hate spending money on something that is only going to be thrown away, so was instantly attracted to tesco's value refuge sacks, which were considerably cheaper than the nearest most economical alternative. Hey, its just going in the bin, what difference can buying value make, except to my bank balance? As it turned out, quite ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: warning - exciting review! (406 words)

We seem to go through an awful lot of bin bags in our house yet there's only 3 humans (sometimes 4) plus 1 cat & 1 dog. Since our local council have introduced wheelie bins I find I still go through loads but now use them mainly transporting rubbish to the appropriate bin. eg. garden rubbish is all put into bin bag in front & back ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Bin Liners (391 words)
by - written on 21/08/09 (Very useful, 65 readings)
Rating:

I'm not one to spend a fortune on bin liners as to me its basically just a bag to put rubbish in! Some of the ones I have seen have been quite extortionate for what they are - for example in a moment of desperation I had to pop down my local convenience store on a Sunday afternoon - the only shop in my area that was open - and found 20 bin bags at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: I must stop talking rubbish! (471 words)

When it comes to creating rubbish, our family, I am slightly ashamed to say seem to create a lot of the stuff. Like most people we try to use the green (and now brown) bins whenever possible but still there seems to be so much that just has to be thrown away. Typical me, always looking for a way to save a few pence thought I would try the Tesco ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Absolute rubish! (312 words)

I have a large 50 litre Brabantia kitchen bin and find the cost of the Brabantia bin liners extortionate so am always looking for a cheaper alternative. I really thought I had found the answer when I spotted Tesco value bin lines selling at just 71p for a roll of 30 large bin liners. To compare, Tesco sell other large bin liners for around £3 for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: Double or nothing (227 words)
by - written on 05/07/09 (Very useful, 7 readings)
Rating:

So, 30 bags for 79p....that works out at roughly 2.5p per bag. It would be a bargain if you didn't have to use 2 bags at a time as they are so flimsy. So it's more like 5p per bag. Which is STILL a great bargain. The product itself is designed to sit in your bin and the theory is, you pull the bag out, tie it and pop it in your wheelie ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Rubbish at Value! (216 words)

Rating:

I tend to stick to these bin bags due to the price which is 79p for 30 at tesco (you can buy similar value range products from other supermarkets at a similar price). As usual they come in a roll and can be tricky to tear with the odd rip rendering the bag useless but if you take care along the perforation they are usually fine. Well I am always wanting to save money! And things like bin bags are the type of things you can either buy for £3 or 30p, and well if I can get um for 30p I'm going to lol!!! Tesco is just a few minutes walk from me, and so I tend to go there when I run out of little things like bin bags, cling film etc. And, one time, we got ourselves ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: Cheap But Effective Enough (292 words)

We switched to using Tesco Value Refuse Sacks a little while ago and haven't looked back since. They cost 74p for a roll of 30 sacks which is about half the price of most of the other brands on offer. We made the switch as a trial run initially thinking that we'd just double them up if they were really bad which would mean we'd lost ...  Read the complete review

I don't use many black bags as I am a recycling fiend but when I do I always buy the cheapest bags possible, usually a roll of 20 from Poundland. I've used the Tesco Value ones in the past and found them not terribly good but last week I purchased another roll of these as they looked like they were thicker than they used to be. For 71p ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks - Yes, they indeed are value! (339 words)

I have been following the reviews of this product recently and have noticed that most people don't find them to be very good at all. Here is my opinion on them. I purchased 30 bags from my local Tesco for the bargain price of 71p. In our house all goods that can be recycled are, meaning that most of our refuse is the odd ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Value bags (317 words)

I've read a couple of reviews lately that have found the Tesco Value Refuse Sacks less than useful. That hasn't been my experience at all, so I thought I should write a review from a different perspective. As you can see from the picture, the bags come on a roll and there are 30 of them in a roll. I will agree with other reviews when ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Refuse Sacks: Bin Bags going cheap - give them the bird!! (206 words)
by - written on 29/03/09 (Useful, 52 readings)

I buy these quite regular and with a family of 5 tend to use about 4 a week. I use them in my medium sized bin in the kitchen and find they are strong enough to hold a full load. At 71p for 30 that works out at 2.4p a bag which I find good value. For those who collect clubcard points then this will also add to your total. If there is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Binliners at their cheapest (294 words)
by - written on 28/03/09 (Very useful, 78 readings)
Rating:

I have read the other 2 reviews on here of these bin liners. I personally dont think they are that bad for the price. Bin liners are another boring necessity in life, we all through away rubbish despite how much I try to recycle I always end up with a bin liner full every week. You get 30 individual bags, which tear off each ...  Read the complete review
