Advantages: cheap, verstile and hard wearing

Disadvantages: sometimes out of stock

During these hard times we are all trying to save money and one of the easiest ways to do this is to buy a cheaper brand (such as tesco value range) Sometimes it's best not to compromise the quality for a cheaper brand but if the cheaper product is just as good as a more costly one then why not?

I have been using these sponges for over 5 years now and I think they work just as well as other brands. I get really annoyed when they are out of stock as I begrudge paying for more expensive sponges. I usually stock up now and buy 2 or 3 packs when I see them.

At just 15p for 5 washing up sponges (just 3p each) these are great value. I find these work just as well as the more expensive sponges and are strong enough to last as long as they are needed - I generally change mine every 3 or 4 days (I have used sponges before which break up quite easily but have not had this problem with these) These are slighlty thinner than more premium brands but I find this an advantage as it makes them easier to clean narrow glasses with. I generally use these for washing up but I also use them to clean the sides/bathroom and other surfaces as I find them easier than cloths to grip and you can use the scourer to scrub stubborn stains.

Summary: Cheap but just as good as its competitors
