With Christmas approaching very quickly I thought I would try and save a few pennies so I can get the usual overload of tubs of pringles, jars of pickles, boxes of cakes ect ect.... So walking down the cleaning aisle I spotted this Value Pine Toilet Cleaner. Now don't get me wrong as I have to have a really clean bathroom and there is nothing better than when everyone has gone to work than when I can get in the bathroom and give it a good wipe over then finish with the usual squirt of blue or green liquid down the toilet ( after I have cleaned it of course!!) thats the final thing I do before closing the door. That's that done until someone gets back later, ... Read the complete review

For products such as toilet cleaner, I don't tend to pay the top- brand prices. Although I want to know that my toilet is 100% clean and free from germs after cleaning, I refuse to pay a few pounds on a product that I'm basically just going to throw down my toilet! So nowadays I tend to opt for the very economical Tesco Value Toilet Cleaner. ~The Product~ Tesco Value Toilet Cleaner can be found in a white plastic bottle bearing the Value logo and a couple of pine cones to indicate that the toilet cleaner has a 'Pine' fragrance to it. The liquid itself is what I would describe as a forest green colour and it surprised me at the thickness of the liquid. ... Read the complete review

Im always a bit of a snob when it comes to brands I think i think the more you pay for something the better it is. In some cases this can be true but not all. Due to the credit crunch ( thats all we hear! ) when I do my shopping online at Tesco ive been trying out a few of their value brands. The idea is to try them and if I don't like the product not to use them again these products are generally very cheap and sometimes more that half the price of any other leading brand. So the way I look at it is you won't be wasting loads of money. I find some household products are really expensive so this is where I wanted to save ... Read the complete review

Let's face it....when it comes to money down the drain...toilet cleaner is perhaps one of the most literal examples of this! I discovered Tesco value toilet cleaner about six months ago and yes, it is sfae and fair that this is not the most exciting thing in the world to talk about, but it is an absolute bargain! Prices range from 25p to 35p for a bottle of this cleaner and it comes in the distinctive 'value' style (which is minimal advertising and only essential information as required by law). The cleaner is green in colour and very thick. Which is good as it coats the inside of teh toilet nicely. Initially, the scent of the pine is ... Read the complete review

Tesco value toilet cleaner I often buy the Tesco value products because I find they usually (but not always) represent good value for money without a real compromise on quality although the packaging is very basic! Product and Packaging... Being one of the value products, the packaging is, as I expected, very basic. It comes in a white plastic 750ml bottle with the name of the product, instructions, warnings and information on the front and that's about it. No fancy pictures or unnecessary information. The screw off top has a child safety cap which means that it's almost impossible for children to open unless they have worked ... Read the complete review
