You know in time of recession all of us look for cheap things to buy. Pound shops are doing very well since inflation hit the food prices and petrol became too expensive.

I used to buy top of the range toilet rolls, one with the dog on the packages.

Now that I can't pay £5 for those because everything else has become so expensive I tried Tesco Value brand. Foir a 12 pack I only paid £1.35.

Tesco value roll is much smaller it is less than half the size of Andrex rolls.

Andrex rolls are very comfortable. If you use them on your nose it won't go red, same with the buttocks. Tesco roll paper is not so smooth and it is thin.

12 rolls are wrapped in thin see thru plastic. It can be easily disposed off.

Mind you in today's climate when everything has increased in price, toilet comfort is one of the first things to go.

The price of Tesco value roles is about 1/4 of Andrex rolls so for each purchase I could be saving about £4.

Summary: use it with eyes closed.
