Cheap & Cheerful Loo Roll- Kind on the Purse ! (Tesco Value Toilet Tissue)

Advantages: Cheap, does what it says it can do!

Disadvantages: Little rougher than other value ranges which are the same price, first sheet glued to the rest!

Cutbacks, everywhere, value ranges are being extended as more people are feeling the pinch. I have a debt to pay off and am temping at the moment. I am always poised just in case they say I don't need to come back next week. So in this vein I have tried to pay off the debts as soon as possible, so that if I am out of a job, this is one less thing to worry about.

With this I have decided that wherever I shop, deciding to bulk shop, get it delivered, bulk cook, save time and money, I will try the value ranges. Just before Christmas the only place that had a time slot before Christmas day was Tesco - Asda being the cheaper option usually. I Decided after trying and not minding Asda Smart Price Toilet Roll, Tesco must be the same. So I order 4x12 packs at £1.49 each. I am aware from the Asda range that the rolls are smaller and need to be replaced quicker than standard toilet roll, but in my mind I save £4 per 12 pack to I definitely must be making a saving!!

As toilet roll goes, it does the job, and when rationalising to my boyfriend, we are flushing money down the loo using the other stuff. I couldn't bear the tracing paper from school days, but this is fine. The only critiscicm I have is that on Value ranges the first sheet is glued to the other toilet rolls so it doesn't unravel. This is common of all toilet roll. However, on this particular range, it has been superglued, so you have to rip a few sheets in to unravel it. A bit of a pain, and you have to replace the rolls a lot quicker - especially if your other half doesn't know how a toilet roll holder works??!!-

Yet all in all a decent value range if a little bit rougher than the Asda range.
