Value Toilet Tissue - What more can I say?! It's value and it's for your bottom! (Tesco Value Toilet Tissue)

Advantages: It's cheap, theres quite a lot of it.

Disadvantages: It can be a little thin in stickier situations!

Toilet rolls are something that every household needs and mine is no different!

I picked up 12 rolls of this value toilet tissue for around £1.20 in my local Tesco a week or so ago. The price was very very reasonable when compared to the other tissues on offer.

The packaging is very basic (as you'd expect with a Value product), it is just basic celophane with a red band advising that there are 12 rolls with 200 sheets on.

I did not actually count the amount of sheets so therefore cannot be sure of the quantity but it looks about right! The rolls are a little thinner and narrower than my normal toilet tissue so I guess this is one of the areas where they are costsaving to bring you a 'value' price!

The tissue is pretty thin when it comes off the roll and is an off-white colour rather than brilliant white of standard toilet tissue. This does give the tissue an appearance of already being a little dirty which I am not a big fan of! The tissue being thin is not the biggest problem as there are two sheets to the roll.

I did find that sometimes the two sheets appear to have been misaligned and then you are left with a roll that basically needs to be double or triple folded just to be usable.

The tissue is average for it's purpose, I wouldn't object to using it again, it's cheap & quite thin but then you do generally get what you pay for!

If you are a little worried about using this and it not being thick enough for those more messy jobs then just fold it over to 'double up' and then you can wipe and be worry free!

I would recommend this, for the price you pay it's a very good product and you get quite a lot for your money too!

The packaging is very easy to get in so if you want your toilet tissue in a hurry you don't really have anything to worry about just tear it open! (Can't recycle the wrapping to my knowledge though which is a downside).

Like I said before I would use this product again, it's a bargain price and at least half the price of any rivals products (even the other Tesco brand which is around £4.00 for the same amount of rolls).

If you are looking for another cost saving in the family home then give this a try as you might be pleasantly surprised. Plus, if you've got kids who are going to waste half of it and strew the other half around the room then it won't matter whether it's this or Andrex will it!

Anyway, thanks for reading my review, not the most amazing subject but a product that invariably pretty much all of us need to us (in this country at least!).

Summary: I would recommend this, it's cheap!
