Advantages: Very good value

Disadvantages: A bit thin and not so soft

As with most of the Tesco Value range the packaging is basic and the product is fairly basic too - ie plain white colour, no pattern. However, seeing as this is toilet tissue and by definition it is going to end up in your toilet no fancy packaging or colours is absolutely fine really.

You can ger 4 rolls for about 40p so this is a lot cheaper than most other brands.

It does the job it is designed for perfectly adequately but the rolls are noticebly a bit shorter and smaller than average and the paper is thinner and rougher. Sometimes you may need to use more sheets than you would with other brands and because of this you will get through more rolls than normal. However, at around at lest half the price of other rolls you can afford to get through more of them whilst still making a saving.

In terms of budgeting if you are trying to save some money switching to these rolls will help you do that whilst still giving you a product that will do the job for you in a perfectly satisfactory way. If you were no longer budgeting however, I think it would be quite likley that you'd switch to a more luxurious brand simply because it is niceer to use a softer paper if you can afford it.

I wouldn't recommend these toilet rolls for other jobs like blowing your nose as you will notice the rougher texture on your face (but you can get soft value facial tissues for this at an equally bargin price).

Summary: Good if you are on a budget
