My mum brought these toilet rolls last week because she is trying out a lot of the Value stuff in Tesco and she reckons these are a bargain compared to the usual Charmin she buys.

I don't think they are that good value for money though because they are proper rough and you have to use loads of sheets to make sure it doesn't rip at a bad moment.

The sheets and rolls are loads thinner than the more expensive paper as well and between the 5 of us we get through over a roll every day so I think its a false economy because 4 Charmin rolls will last us nearly a week but these 12 don't even last that long.

It's not very absorbant either and I'm not talking about toilet issues there I'm on about when you need toilet paper for other reasons like blowing your nose or blotting your lipstick. Even when using the toilet though I don't think it would be absorbant enough to have loads of confidence in unless you do like I do and use loads of sheets all scrunched up together.

You can tell how rough it is becasue I had a cold last week and had to use this to keep wiping my nose and by the end of the very first day of my cold my nose was red raw and proper sore. Last time I had a cold I used the Charmin loo roll and that didn't leave my nose looking or feeling so bad.

I hate this toilet roll and can't wait for my mum to realise how crap it is so that she can start buying some softer stuff again.

They cost about £1.20 for 12 of the little skinny rolls but you're better of to buy 4 decent rolls because they will last longer and will be loads kinder to your bottom.
