You're probably all familar with Tesco's no frills budget range known as Tesco Value. You can now buy a growing range of products within this range. I'm going to focus this review on the Tesco Value Toilet Rolls.

Their main selling point has got to be the price, with a 4 pack roll available for under 50p with a 12 pack rolls for around £1.20. You can't fail to agree that this is exceptional value and is hard to beat. But there is a good old saying that you get what you pay for and this is definetly the case this time around.

The tissue on the rolls is very thin indeeed and not very absorbent as a result. Also it feels very rough and definetly not as soft as the likely of other items available on the market. It's also a very dull white colour, I've seen other rolls which are also white but a pleasent white, don't expect any such thing here.

If you are on a budget then this might be worth going for especially in times of the credit crunch. However I reckon with the regular special offers you now find in most supermarkets, you can probably pick up a much higher quality roll for just a small amount of money more.

Summary: Shop around & you may find the better quality rolls aren't that much more expensive
