There are two things I could do here- compare Tesco Value Toilet Roll with Andrex or Charmin or some other soft pouffy double quilted toilet roll with pictures of kisses and puppies on it-- or I can compare it to other "Value" toilet rolls. Now there is just no point in comparing this toilet roll to the "Premium" ... Read the complete review

I recently noticed plenty of advertisements for toilet papers both on television and on newspapers, and I wonder to myself what drives people to buy toilet paper that is soft and expensive. Whilst doing the weekly shopping, I had made a bet with myself on how Tesco Value Toilet Tissue would be against the more expensive brands. Like any ... Read the complete review

I am all for trying new products and certainly cheaper versions of my usual products. My girlfriend and I normally go supermarket shopping together and use various supermarkets to purchase our weekly shopping. However, I recently let her loose in our local Tesco and we reappeared with these! Tesco Value Toilet Tissue. 12 rolls of 200 sheets ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value toilet roll is available in 4 and 8 packs for 43p and £1.26 respectively. It comes in clear plastic packaging so you can see what you are getting. Just by looking at it you can see that it is definitely a 'Value' product. It is quite thin and rough compared to more expensive brands. I have also found that a ... Read the complete review

WARNING: the following review contains graphic descriptions of the effects of using Tesco Value Toilet Tissue on the well-being of people already suffering from minor bum-related health problems. Personally I don't consider myself to be a brand-snob; I do a regular 'big shop' at Aldi and/or Lidl and come away with a bizarre range of ... Read the complete review

Wow some of you reviewers are pretty unfair. Sure, there's no comparison to be made in terms of that Kitten Softness, and if you're looking for a cheap pet, it's not Strokably Soft like a certain puppy. But lets get this in perspective people. 12 rolls, £1.12 At the rate people go through tissue, this represents a ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value Toilet Tissue is a very good product for the price it costs. For a pack of 12, it costs approximately £1.40 which is very reasonable, especially with the current economic climate and so many families trying to save money. This works out at only about 21p per loo roll which is very reasonable indeed. The first time I bought ... Read the complete review

As with most of the Tesco Value range the packaging is basic and the product is fairly basic too - ie plain white colour, no pattern. However, seeing as this is toilet tissue and by definition it is going to end up in your toilet no fancy packaging or colours is absolutely fine really. You can ger 4 rolls for about 40p so this is a lot ... Read the complete review

Living on out own, my girlfriend and I, bills coming out of our ears we need to try and keep costs to a minimum. So rather for experiments than anything we have been trying a few Tesco value products to keep the shopping bill down and give them a test out. One of the products we have tired and tested and carried on using is Tesco Value toilet ... Read the complete review

If I lived on my own, I might plump for a luxury toilet roll but as I live with two others then I must consider how cost-effective this would be. This is a confession I'm sure that many, many others would agree with but it's not made out of pure selfishness. Other people use toilet roll in a cavalier, devil may care attitude, hoiking great long ... Read the complete review

This toilet paper costs just 41p for 4 rolls (it can also be bought in a pack of 12). I think this is the cheapest toilet roll around (other stores own brand are same price but none cheaper yet that i have seen). It might be cheap but is it good value? It is a smaller than average roll of toilet paper but at just over 10p a roll it is to be ... Read the complete review

Need to use double the amount as each ply is very thin! It's still good value though considering how much cheaper it is than other toilet tissue brands. Also dissolves easily so I guess good for the environment.

These toilet rolls are part of the Tesco Value range of items. I recently bought several packs of these (4s not 12s!) from Tesco online, much to the disappointment of my husband who would prefer something more plush. They are a pack of 4 rolls (or 12) surrounded by a clear and printed plastic pack as above showing what the product looks ... Read the complete review

I don't generally believe in spending a lot on loo roll because it is just used to clean up and then chucked down the loo so I see it as pointless in coughing up lots of money on expensive varieties. So I think these rolls are just about the cheapest you can get at roughly 41p for a four pack which means each roll is just a bargain 10.25p. ... Read the complete review

Toilet rolls are something that every household needs and mine is no different! I picked up 12 rolls of this value toilet tissue for around £1.20 in my local Tesco a week or so ago. Tesco Value Toilet Tissue is the cheapest toilet roll available instore - but don't worry, it's not that bad! I think toilet roll is a rip off. As one of lifes necessities companies charge the earth for it. This is where the great product of tesco value toilet tissue comes in. You can get 12 rolls in each pack, they are smaller than the average andrex, but I think this is because andrex is a lot thicker per sheet. Not very good for the ... Read the complete review

It's surprising how much of this a household gets through when you have a family of five, and to save a little, we use the more economy type brands, such as this one.
