Tesco Value White Kitchen Towel

Whenever your in the kitchen, lounge or any other room for that matter, and there is an uncontrolled spill of liquid, its always handy to have some Kitchen roll to hand to mop up the mess, and Tesco Value White Kitchen Towel does just that job, but not as well as you would think for the price that you pay. The product itself is fairly strong, but compared to other branded products such as Bounty, it is no where near as strong. As for liquid absorption, again it does the job, but compared to the more expensive products it holds a fraction of the amount. I personally hate kitchen roll covered in flowers, or shapes, or flowerpots , or more flowers. I think that if I buy them I will be old before my time and anyway, I don't have the country kitchen that would accommodate such monstrosities. Thankfully, Tesco Value Kitchen Roll has none of the above attributes and is as plain and simple as it is cheap. For me, there isn't much difference in the efficiency of differing types of kitchen roll for the purposes I often need to use it for. I understand that, for some people, strong and durable kitchen 'towel' such as Bounty are better value than the less durable ones. Tesco Value White Kitchen Roll is no frills. The packaging is thin plastic, an then the individual sheets to tear off do at first seem quite flimsy. However, if all you need it for is to wipe up a few spills here and there, then it's good enough. Kitchen towel seems to be a staple in our house and like everyone else we are looking to save a few pennies on the weekly shop. Having had a few successes with the Tesco's value range I decided to swap our usual buy with the value brand, just to see if we would notice the difference. The kitchen towel comes in a double pack of 'jumbo' rolls which looked and felt quite thick, each roll should contain about 120 sheets of 2 ply towel which seems a fair amount. I usually use Bounty kitchen roll (or Plenty as it is now strangely known) but have become rather annoyed at how the supermarkets seem to be adding a few pence to the price every single time I buy it. It started out as very expensive but is now a scandalous price in most shops and more than I am prepared to pay for kitchen roll which is ultimately used once and then thrown away.
