Advantages: Cheap, Does Good Job, Pleasant Aroma, Helps Clean Grease + Muck
Disadvantages: -
Tesco Washing Up Liquid is a great product, which is cheaper than other washing up liquids and does a very good job, leaving your kitchenware smelling wonderful and looking clean. It can be used to squeeze onto stuff to wash up or into a washing up bowl or you can even refill the Dishmatique (highly recommended) scrubbing brush with this to scrub away with the soapy brush at your dishes.
The Tesco Washing Up Liquid comes in a few different varieties. They all come in 500ml bottles but the prices do vary. Currently, the Lime & Ginger variety is on offer at 2 for £1.20. The varieties are as follows:
Original - 70p
Lemon - 50p
Citrus Fragrance - 70p
Naturally Lemon - £1.09
Lime & Ginger - 86p
French Lavendar - 96p
Some are pricier than others due to their ingredients and they are slightly better quality but they all do the same job so you may as well buy the cheapest one they have! The liquids usually come in bright colours, respective to their ingredients and the bottles are easy to open with a little cap on the top that flicks open. The bottles can be squeezed to get out the liquid whilst upside down.
The liquid has a very wet and slippery feel so you should be careful whilst using it and if you spill any. It immediately builds up a lovely smelling foam once you scrub it onto stuff with water. You should give it a scrub and perhaps another one before rinsing all the soap suds away. It leaves things smelling and looking fresh and clean. You can even use this stuff to make bubbles if you have the appropriate bubble blower - mix a fair amount in with some water, dip in the blowing device and try it out! It's great for the kids. I'd highly recommend this as it's cheap, smells wonderful and does a thorough job.
