Sandalwood and Ginger has a strong smell as do all Body Shop oils, the scent fills the room as soon as the water starts to heat up and reaches full aroma after around 15 mins. Only about 4 drops is adequate- infact anymore and...more

I have a Body Shop Christmas oil burner set. The oils that came with it were lovely and I have since bought loads more, in various fragrances. You fill the well on the top of your burner with water- I use warm water to get the fragrance going quicker- then add a few drops of oil to it. After lighting a tealight I pop it inside the burner to heat the water which when hot releases the fragrance. The Body Shop Sandalwood & Ginger Home Fragrance Oil - currently £4 for a 10ml bottle I tend to be a massive fan of all things to throw into my oil burner, and as such seem to get a selection of different oils in my stocking at Christmas. This is one of the scents that I have ended up with over the course of the last year. I personally tend to choose fruity fragrances and as such this was a bit on the 'different' side. As with all other room fragrance oils this is to be used in a well with water and a tea light under it to help the evaporation process. I love to fragrance my home with scented candles or home fragrance oil and therefore I was delighted to receive an oil burner and some home fragrance oils from The Body Shop last Christmas. Since receiving my gift I have been steadily working my way through the oils with mixed views on the different fragrances. Sandalwood & Ginger was probably not an oil I would have personally chosen based on the name alone, as I am not a big fan of fragrances containing ginger as a rule, despite my love of woody and spicy fragrances.
