Advantages: Smells great and natural, not to heavy, a great value for money

Disadvantages: None that I have found

For a long time now I have become adamant that I need a nice smelling home. As I work 9 to 5 it is now almost part of my routine, especially during the winter months to come in and light either a scent candle or some fragrance oil. I think when you cannot have the windows open and have the fresh air flowing through it is important to have the home scents going, I cannot stand the stale smells of food or just that enclosed smell that you get on occasions. I brought an oil burner from my local Range superstore and then looked online to get some home fragrance oils, there were all coming up for about the same price as the Body shop home fragrance oils so I decided to get that as I was close by to the store. Here are my thoughts on the Body Shop Satsuma Home fragrance oil.

The oil was brought in my nearest store, there were a number of different fragrances but opted for this Citrus scented one. The oil came in a 10ml bottle, for those that don't know this is quite a small sized bottle but with the oil you really do need just a couple of drops to see an effect. The bottle will cost you £3.50 and I mentioned, the oils online were about this price but then I needed to add the postage and packaging on so this seemed a good value for money option. Available online as well from the Body Shop itself this item is readily available.

The bottle that I have is made from glass which is clear and has a black lid. There is a label wrapped around the centre of the bottle and this has the name of the fragrance and the Green Body Shop logo on it. There is further information on the oil on the reverse of this label as well as a small arrow indicating that if you peel the label backwards you can obtain some safety advice as well. I tend to use this fragrance in my living room, I put it on as soon as I get in and within about 20 minutes there is an amazing scent filling the room.

The bottle is opened by turning the child safety cap, and then you will see a small hole where the oil is dispensed from. The oil as I mentioned above is best used in very small doses. You noticed the lovely orange citrus scent straight away but when I popped it into my oil burner I noticed the scent just grow and grow.

The Body shop oil is very powerful in that it quickly fills the room but it is also really fresh and not at all a synthetic scent that is false, I liked that this is pure oil and I think you could really tell that. The scent is noticed by anyone that pops over and all it really costs is the bottle of oil and a tea light candle so for me this is better than any sort of air freshener that comes and goes in scent in seconds.

In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending this fragrance, it is an excellent product and the quality is excellent

5 out of 5 from me

Thank you for reading
