      Great quality product

Neutradol Toilet Cleaning Tablets are great little cleaning tablets for the toilet in my opinion, which are housed in a nice cardboard box containing ten tablets for ony £1.59. I bought mine from Home Bargains but I think they will possibly be more expensive in supermarkets.

They are individually wrapped solid blocks in clear plastic so you can see what is inside the pack.
Each block has three layers. One will disinfect, one will get rid of and prevent limescale and the last one is designed to deodorize the loo.

The are very simple and very easy to use I have personally found. Ater flushing the loo, simply pop a block inside the toilet bowl and leave. We leave ours overnight as I always think the more time it has to work, the better and there is no point at all for leaving it just about thirty minutes or so.

The smell is rather pleasant I feel and once they have fizzed up in the water in the bottom of the bowl you can see and smell them starting to do their work.

The following morning just flush the loo again and you will be left with a great siny and sparkling clean loo every time.

This give great results every time I have used them and I would greatly recommend them. They are not expensive and easy to find in all shops and work just as well if not better than the more expensive ones I have used.

      Recommended.

      Brilliant cleaning power!

When it comes to cleaning it really is one of my most favourite pastimes. I suppose I could be described as being house proud really but in honesty I just like to live in nice and clean surroundings.

The one place I don't like to think is germ infested and none too fresh is the bathroom. I share it with somebody else (my flatmate and best buddy) and I would be horrified if we were in each others scum and muck.

The toilet of course needs to be cleaned and often. I use all the usual blocks you put into the cistern and squeeze products under the rim but do we really know and trust how effective they are?!

Neutradol is a brand that I trust and so when I spotted these tablets and costing only £1.49 (in a local shop) for ten of them I thought that offered great value for money so I got some.

      The Packaging:

The tablets come individually wrapped in clear plastic within a white and light blue cardboard box. On the front of the box I'm shown a diagram of a tablet and one of these going into a toilet and I'm told that they 'Clean around the bend', Neutradol 'The world's No1 Deodorizer Toilet Cleaning Tablets that deodorize, removes limescale and contain powerful oxygen bleach' and that there are 10 effervescent tablets in there. Other information on the box includes being told a bit about the product and I'm explained to about how each layer of the tablets works and how to use them, warnings are listed and contact details for M S George Ltd (the manufacturer of the product) are stated. Informative box this is and very clear instructions are given on how to use the tablets and what to expect from them.

      Using Them:

Well you take them out their clear plastic wrapper and they are rather thick, formed solid blocks of powder with a fresh none distinctive aroma to them. Each tablet has 3 layers the top being light blue which is to deodorize, the second layer is white and that's to help remove limescale and the bottom layer is dark blue and contains a bleach to kill germs. You simply flush the toilet before popping one in the toilet bowl and leave it for at least 30 minutes before using the toilet or flushing it. For best results we are told we can leave it in the loo for as long as we desire, I usually leave mine in overnight to really let it do its thing.

The recommended dosage for these is one tablet whenever you desire to clean the toilet and demolish limescale though for very dirty and limescale ridden toilets you can use two if you wish.

I really do rate these tablets highly. They fizzle up and dissolve immediately and that's it job done. When I flush the loo when I've done I'm left with a clean and shiny toilet bowl that smells fresh and gives me real confidence it is cleaned. And germ/bug free

Limescale is really does bashed off as well. When I first moved into my flat my toilet had limescale in the form of crusty brown bits on it. I used two tablets overnight and bang these are that powerful that it went and didn't stand a chance of staying put.

I use these regularly to give me peace of mind and they come highly recommended from my toilet as well as me!

If not on offer expect to pay about £2.00 a box for these from all good supermarkets etc.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Whenever you need to go to the toilet, whether it is at someone else?s house or a public convenience, don?t you always look to see if the toilet bowl is clean and smelling fresh? I know I always do and I tend to judge people by the state of their ?smallest room?. The toilet is a breeding ground for germs and if someone?s toilet is in a neglectful state then I always wonder how clean is their kitchen. If their toilet is clean then I am always happy to have a cup of tea and/or food because I know that hygiene is important to that person. I simply cannot stand to see a dirty toilet especially if the bowl is full of limescale which has turned dark brown through obvious toilet actions. Yuk, the mere thought is revolting! There is no need for anyone?s toilet to be either full of limescale or discoloured as there are so many toilet cleaners on the market to choose from. Not all of them work and I think I have tried most of them but as I live in a hard water area it has been a constant battle to keep my toilet free of limescale. Sometimes I have had to resort to putting the rubber gloves on and getting a scourer and using elbow grease to get rid of the limescale. This is hard work and not a job I enjoyed doing until I found a little gem that I simply cannot be without now - it is my little miracle worker and it is called Neutradol Toilet Cleaning Tablet. Through the years, Neutradol has become THE specialist for bad odour treatment not only in the air freshener market but also in the toilet cleaning environment. The Neutradol range is becoming wider and wider and every odour problem finds its solution thanks to its dynamic research and development laboratory. WHAT ARE NEUTRADOL TOILET CLEANING TA
6;LETS? ************************************************************* They are claimed to be a new generation of deodorising compounds which are coupled with powerful cleaning agents which ensure that our toilet bowls are kept odour free but, at the same time, clean and safe from germs and claim to be the world?s No.1 deodoriser. Neutradol contains over 50 ingredients and attacks the bad odours which can obviously be left in our toilets and leave the toilet smelling fresh and clean. Each tablet weights 25g. WHAT DOES THE PACKAGING LOOK LIKE? ************************************************ There are 10 individually wrapped effervescent tablets contained in each box which is coloured blue and white and there is a white toilet on the front of the box showing a rather larger than life tablet being dropped into the bowl. One would think that this image is a sheer figment of the imagination but I think it is a fitting image because it may be a little tablet in real life but it performs a huge miracle in that toilet bowl! It states that the tablet also cleans around the bend of the toilet and that it deodorises, removes limescale and kills germs. There is a large black X against an orange background on the back of the package which is the sign that it is an irritant. On one side of the box it states that the contents contain less than 5% anionic surfactants and from 5% to less than 15% oxygenated bleaching agents. HOW DO I USE THE TABLETS? *********************************** I use one tablet once a week and usually keep my routine to the same particular day ie. Sunday evening. Just before going to bed flush the toilet and wait until the water is still - I
; then very carefully open the carton and take out an individually wrapped tablet and drop it into the toilet bowl. You will instantly see the tablet bubbling to the surface of the water level and you will most definitely hear it making a ?hissing? sound. You can be then safe in the knowledge that you can go to bed, have a good night?s sleep knowing that the tablet is working away overnight to soften the limescale and kill any germs that are lurking around your toilet. You can leave it for 30 minutes if you want a quick clean before someone important visits otherwise leave it soaking overnight. If you use this product on a regular basis then you need only use one tablet but if your toilet has a vast amount of limescale then you should use two tablets and leave overnight. After all, the toilet is one of the most used rooms in a house and needs to be sanitised on a regular basis. As well as using the Neutradol tablet weekly you should also clean the rest of your toilet daily ? I always use bleach and still put some bleach into the bowl before going to bed. As I live in a hard water area limescale is a constant battle and the weekly Neutradol treatment is definitely keeping limescale at bay! WARNING! ************ You must ensure that as soon as you have dropped the tablet into the water that you wash your hands immediately as this product can be irritating to the yes and skin. You should also keep it out of the reach of children and pets. I always make sure that I take the empty wrapper and put in the kitchen bin straightaway (not in the bathroom bin because if one of my dogs picked it up in their mouth then they would be severely ill. If the contents of the tablet do come into contact with your eyes or skin then immediately rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. The same procedure applies if part of the c
ontents is swallowed. You should never mix a toilet bowl cleaner with any other household or cleaning products because doing so can result in poisonous gases being released and cause very serious breathing problems. Your bathroom should have plenty of ventilation and you should leave the door open and use the exhaust fan, if you have one. Please not that on the day that I use this tablet then I never use the bleach. You should also keep the tablets away from combustible material. They are harmful to aquatic organisms and may well cause adverse long-term effects in the aquatic environment. WHERE CAN I BUY IT AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? ************************************************************** I always buy mine from Wilkinsons as I find that they sell most household cleaning products much cheaper than the supermarkets and they charge £1.89 for a box of 10 tablets so, in effect, it costs me 18p per week to keep my toilet free of limescale which I regard as really good value. These tablets are made in England by: M S George Limited Richmond TW9 2RG www.neutradol.com Apparently, these tablets are safe for use with septic tanks. JUST A BIT OF TOILET TRIVIA NEWS ***************************************** Did you know that:- 1. The Tower Thistle Hotel in London was the winner of the 1996-97 "Loo of the Year" award. The hotel's lavish lavatory decorated in charcoal grey, marble and walnut, with ginger jars, glass tables and comfortable seating won the ninth annual compe
tition sponsored by the British Tourist Authority and two companies that promote hygienic public washrooms. 2. The Grand Prize in this contest went to Portsmouth Historic Dock Yard. The heritage shipyard was cited for excellence in providing facilities for disabled visitors and for parents with babies who can find highchairs, microwaves and bottle warmers in the loo. So, there you go, you can spend a penny at these two places and know that your bum shouldn?t pick up any nasty bacteria!
