Cleaning the loo is never a very popular choice of household chore but a necessary one. We bought a starter pack of Toilet Duck Cleaner Pads and accessories which cost £4 from Asda. With the starter pack you get the hand held brush with pads, a stand and a pack of refill pads.
It is really simple and easy to use in my personal opinion and the hand held white plastic curved brush which is designed to reach all round the toilet bowl is very simple to use. The handle is nice and long so you can really get in there. The idea is that you immerse the brush with the pads on the end into the loo to activate the cleaner which begins to foam up (eventually) and gives a nice blue colour to the loo.
It removed the stains at the side and the back of the loo but not all of them, I have to say, so that was a bit diappointing. The concentrated loo cleaner which is embedded in the pads is quite strong smelling and you have to be careful it doesn't get on your clothes or skin as it can be harsh - as I have found out to my personal cost.
I opened the windows because although the smell is rather nice at first you soon find it becomes very overpowering and you start to cough as the smell builds up.
The little concentrated pads just clip off and they get flushed down the loo after you have finished cleaning it. It sounds really simple and I suppose it is but to be honest I think some ordinary cleaner, an ordinary brush and some rubber gloves would have been just as easy and a bit cheaper.

Summary: Not something I can totally recommend
