After seeing these advertised on the TV for quite a while now, I decided to give them a go. I spotted them on the shelf in Sainsbury's last week and thought for £3 they were great value. I say this as it was advertised at being able to hold 6 disks in the applicator and each disk was meant to last 6 weeks, bargain.. .or so I thought!

I purchased these in the lime zest scent which I thought would be refreshing, and yes, it was for a few days.

How these work is you push the applicator over the tube with the gel in and take the lid off, once this is off you push the applicator onto the inside of the toilet to where you want it (so the water hits it when you flush). The gel then moves down a notch to reveal a gel pattern on the toilet, this looks smart and smells nice.

However, after two days, mine had bits of gel falling off quite frequently and my the end of the week, just a green mark was left where it was. I was quite disappointed by this and therefore tryed again, but the same thing happened. I then decided to use the applicator to put it in a different place in my toilet but the applicator broke and green gel just went everywhere, so it still smells nice, but looks awful!

I shall not be buying these again as they don't last 6 weeks at all, not a chance! Not even with all 6 discs added together would they last 6 weeks. Don't waste your money! The only good things were the scent and the fact you didn't have to touch the toilet at all!
