After seeing this so heavily promoted on telly just recently, I was in my local Home Bargains and I saw these on the shelf for £1.60 ish compared to a RRP of £3. I would not pay 3 quid for the, but as they were almost half the price I thought I would give them ago as my current cage rim block had ran out. Packaging is a cardboard box ... Absolutely useless. Four days in and a total of ten flushes (I live alone) and it's slid down and is just above the water level like a huge green phlegm. Nothi g disc-like about it now. It looks disgusting and God only knows what my guests must think. A complete flop that's definitely does not work. Don't buy this and spend your money on something that actually does what it says on the tin, because this totally doesn't. How can they even market this? Was this never even product-tested before reaching the shops? I'd flush it down the loo but it appears it's doing that all by itself!

I really hate 'iffy' toilets. This includes both the unclean variety....... and those which are so heavily charged with either chemical disinfectants or overpowering masking scents. Historically toilet blocks or cleaners were either added to the cistern : slowly generating sludge and gunk or lurked under the rim in a cage arrangement collecting ... Read the complete review

This product is somewhat bizarre. First of all, you have to assemble something that is phallic in shape and size (!) and then squirt the device at the side of the toilet bowl. You are left with a blob of something attached to the bowl. Apart from this somewhat strange process, you can't get over the stink these blobs make. They smell like you have some strange chemicals located in the bathroom - a very unpleasant and artificial odour. Definitely would not buy again because of the rank odour and silly way you have to administer the product. Totally duff.

I haven't really had much luck with these myself, when strangely reading what others have said, they have. Quite an interesting product design really, I myself don't mind a cage on the toilet, as it's rinsed off anyway during a flush and if it isn't, I just wipe it off like you would when cleaning the rim. But I got suckered ... Read the complete review

Total rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not buy. I bought these only because they were half price.
They sre supposed to last for 6 weeks. There is enough gel for 6 discs. Well I put a disc in my loo (smells nice) and after 2 days it was totally gone!!!!
Never going to buy again.

After seeing these advertised on the TV for quite a while now, I decided to give them a go. I spotted them on the shelf in Sainsbury's last week and thought for £3 they were great value. I say this as it was advertised at being able to hold 6 disks in the applicator and each disk was meant to last 6 weeks, bargain.. .or so I thought! I ... Read the complete review

"There is a fruit pastel stuck in the toilet", said my husband. "Don't be daft - its a toilet duck" I replied. What a strange conversation to have on a Saturday afternoon! I had been to the supermarket and come home with some cleaning material and set about firstly cleaning the bathroom - a job ... Read the complete review

Like many others I saw these Toilet Duck Fresh Discs advertised on TV and liked the idea of not actually having to handle or touch something that's been sitting in the toilet, such as the cage, so I thought I'd give these ago. A tube of stick gel where the dot/disc sticks to the bowl and cleans your loo with every flush - seems easy ... Read the complete review

Living in a hard water area, I struggle with keeping my toilet clean from limescae, and smelling nice at the same time. Bleach keeps it clean, but I dont want my toilet smelling like the local swimming pool! We visited my mother in law, and when I went to the toilet, I noticed a green blob of goo in there! When I asked, she told me it was Duck ... Read the complete review

Like most of us, I hate cleaning the toilet but I am also conscious that this is one area of the house that I can't ignore. I'm always attracted to new toilet cleaning products on the market as a way of making such an unpleasant task more pleasant and, usually, in the vain hope that a new product will miraculously transform my loo into a pristine ... This product is quite new on the market and I wanted to give it a try- I can't help myself when something new comes out. I have tried the loo blocks with the plastic cage, the ones with the scented gel, the ones that go in the cistern, the ones that foam, the brushes that you throw away. I always end up going back to the traditional liquid ... Read the complete review

OK so it is a toilet cleaner/freshener - hardly the most inspiring of products but it looks like the manufacturers and marketing boys tried really hard with this one - but what a strange experience using this has been! I picked this up whilst looking for something that wasn't one of those rim things you put a tablet in - I was probably ... Read the complete review

I had watched the adverts for these little disks a few times and although I was a little interested, I wasn't interested enough to find out more. A few weeks ago I stumbled across a review on dooyoo and as the review was favourable and the price wasn't too bad I decided to give them a go myself. I have tried various loo cleaner blocks, ... Over the last three years of living in our own house, we've tried many types of in-toilet cleaner/ freshener systems. Rim blocks were always a problem because they fall off, get in the way of the toilet seat, or run out quickly and are expensive to replace. The blocks that go inside the cistern weren't too bad, but when we replaced our toilet ... Read the complete review

Unlike my other reviews, I think this may be a rather short one, as the advert pretty much sums up the product in one go! After heading to Wilkinson's to buy a toilet freshner rim block, I pleasently discovered that this product actually was cheaper (it cost me around £1.50, bargainacious). Watching the tv advert for the product, I ... Read the complete review
