Since I have started reviewing I now keep most empty packets, containers, etc to do a review about once we have used the product so I tend to end up with quite al ot of plastic packaging like this one today, lol!

We bought this 'Triple Velvet' by SCA Hygiene Products Ltd when they were on offer for just over £2 with 2 rolls extra free taking the pack to six rolls from Morrisons...

The packaging is a clear plastic in parts with the little boy the company now do their advertising with, and he's in amongst trees. On the front it says: 'for every tree we use we plant three more' and on the back write up it says this toilet tissue is made from mixed sources of wood from well managed forest, controlled sources and recycled woof or fibre.

There is a big paragraph on how the company are committed to planting millions of saplings every year to make sure they are doing their bit for responsible forestry practices...

The product is said to be pure white and soft plus three ply which means it has three layers for extra comfort and security.

Each roll is very, very soft and feels lovely and silky against the skin but I was surprised at how thin it felt - we usually have Charmin so I suppose I was comparing it to that quality?

The rolls are plain except for a swirly decorative border which I found a bit boring, I know it's only toilet tissue but I felt they could have made more of any effort...

On using this stuff it is ok, the softness is the best thing about it but it really isn't thick like you would expect such a famous brand to be. I think they need to concentrate on that aspect of this product as well as the brilliant ethical side.

Three stars from me and that's for the tree re-planting which is cool but the three ply should be four ply if it's going to be that thin!

Summary: Not very good really...
