You know how you have regular couldn't-do-without-it domestics products stashed under the sink, in case of emergencies? Well this trigger sprayed, action packed, enzyme-busting solution is 'a must have' in my household's cleaning products, as it really is super stuff! It has to be said I am a huge fan of all things 'Vanish', as I think it's an all-round great cleaning product that actually delivers what it professes on all its packaging. Whether it be the 500ml 'Stain Remover Pre-Wash' spray I am reviewing today, the concentrated power foam moose for use on carpet stains - or even the newer version style of 'Oxi-Action' solution that can be ... Vanish is an excellent product, which can be used to successfully get rid of tough stains before washing your clothes. If you accidentally get blood, pen or other tough stains on your clothes, you can use Vanish before washing them and you can almost be guaranteed that your clothes will come out spotless. It is only a pre-wash spray so shouldn't be added to the washing machine directly. It helps by breaking down the stains first so they can be washed away. This product should be applied as ... Read the complete review

As we live next door to my mum, I used to pop round to hers to nick her Vanish Stain Remover but eventually she noticed and told me to sod off and buy my own! So out I went to Asda to pick some of the same one up as it had always worked very well on my washing. Vanish Stain Remover comes in a strikingly bright pink plastic spray bottle which I think makes it a very attractive buy for any girls out there (I hope they don't colour it pink thinking that it's only girls who do the washing though!). ... After a rather unfortunate incident in which the cat saw fit to deposit her dinner on the stairs carpet, this was the only halfway suitable cleaning agent in the house. Technically, this is more suited to getting stains out of clothes but I was impressed that it managed to get this particular stain out of the carpet today! ***The Product*** This comes in the form of a spray, and is very simple to use. You simply spray it onto the stain, leave it for a few minutes and then wash as normal. As it is a fairly clear liquid in colour, it shouldn't stain your clothes itself (how ironic that would be!). The instructions advise leaving it for up to minutes, but I ... Read the complete review
