I bought this thinking it was a good name brand and so it must be a good mop!!

I mean how excited can you get over a mop anyway and when I was looking among the meager choice in my local supermarket I decided on the vileda super mop!!It wasn't cheap by any means at £7.99 (for a mop!!)but I thought"well it should last a while",ha no chance..

When I got it home I thought great,I won't have to get on my hands and knee to wash the floor any more,,I got started straight away,I know I know, maybe I was a little keen to use it but with a new product aren't we all!! Even if it is only a mop,I don't get out much, lol!!

The vileda is one of those new foam type mops which are a bit like a sponge on the end of a stick(you know what I mean)and when you want to wring them out you just push down on the handle and it expresses the excess water for you!!ha..

Well the floor wasn't exactly dirty when I started so when I'd given it the once over with this it seemed nice and clean.I must stress the word "seemed".

I put it away and over the next few weeks or so (using the mop at least every other day remember!)I noticed the floor was looking really dindgy and I also noticed that where my skirting boards are the floor was disgustingly dirty!! Maybe I should have noticed before it got that bad but over the space of a few weeks you tend not to notice these things.

So in conclusion I would not recommend these to anyone as mine ended up in the bin and I am back to good old fashioned hands and knee's till I find one that is a lot cheaper and works!!

For all those who may be feeling sorry for me at having to get on my hands and knee's to wash the floor ;)' I thank you for you sympathy..I will find a decent mop one day I'm sure....If anyone has any suggestions I will be very grateful...

Yes they do leave every where mucky don't they? I went back to an ordinary mop and just used the old vileda to help me dry the floor afterwards.
