Stop stupid squeaks (WD-40)

WD-40 has been around for years and has stayed around because it is so useful. It is a lubricant which you can use essentially to get rid of any squeaks. Although this sounds perhaps a tad limited in its use, I find that there are moments all the time when i wished I just had a bottle of this in my pocket.

You wouldn't want to get this on your clothes, but it does wash easily of hands so it doesn't make a job become all more annoying when you find you have stuff all over your hands. Its smell is also discrete which is good, and any smell that you can smell does not smell bad at all.

Its uses also extend beyond stopping squeaks, for example I sometimes use it on my Swiss army knife if everything is a bit too stiff.

There is one drawback to WD-40 which is that it works so well that you don't want to get it in the wrong place. For instance you have to be careful when using it on a bike to make sure you don't get it near the brakes, else you will have a very dangerous bicycle.

Summary: Fantastic product that is always useful in a DIY cupboard
