One thing I love in my home are candles and oil burners and the likes to create mood...and to save on electric....joking! Er...anyway I buy big bags of tealights on a regular basis to use in my oil burners and until I bought this I only had only a couple of little tealight holders, plus 2 massive ones my mum bought me for Christmas so I bought this one for £2.00 in my local Wilkinson store which I thought was good value for my money for such a chunky looking little holder. I have this in the brushed gold look and I didn't have any other options to choose from at the time I was in the store and this is not listed on the Wilkinson's website anymore so its a case of looking and buying it instore if and when you come across it though of course you do have Google at your fingertips should you decide you really want to buy this one.
So this is ceramic, so breakable it is and its deep and round in shape though no size is stated on it. It has a slight sheen to it though not a high polished look and to the centre of it there is a not so deep hole so you can pop a tealight in it and burn it. Its a simple concept!
I find that my tealight flame can be seen poking out of the top of it very well indeed, its lightweight so I can move it about with ease and this doesn't get sooty at all or messy looking and all it takes to clean this is to wipe it over with a duster!
There's not much you can say about this though really it is what it is. It looks quality, its is functional and sturdy and holds my tealights in a nice and secure way!
Like I say though its easy to chip this and break it so you can't go being heavy handed with it but this is sat on my windowsill looking very pretty even when its not in use so I'm a happy bunny with it and I think this is worth every penny!
Only available from Wilkinson stores.

Wilko tealight holder.
I bought a couple of these when I was recently in wilkinson a as they had been reduced from £2 to £1.50, so great value for anyone who, like me, likes to have lots of tea lights burning especially in the winter.
The tea light holders look quite chunky but when lifted they are actually a lot lighter than they look and feel quite fragile. They are however made of ceramic and so they can't be broken if they accidentally fall. They are also good in that being light and without any sharp edges they are unlikely to damage surfaces.
One of the reasons I bought them is also the fact that they are a beige medium lustre in colour and so will probably match a range of different decors as they are neutral in colour. the lustre gives them a bit of a shine but not too much, rather the lustre makes them less latte and gives a bit of interest to what could other wise be a plain beige.
they are rounded in shape and with a height of about 7cm, stand a good height from the surface. the tea light itself sits in the middle of the candle holder, in a recessed section of the holder! And it's handy in that it holds the normal size tea lights which can be picked up cheaply.
They can be purchased on line from www.wilkinsonplus.com or in wilkinson stores.
WHAT DO I THINK OF THEM?
These are nice little tea light holders which aren't expensive and actually manage to look more expensive than the £1.50 they cost me. They are a good shape and look nice set amongst other tea light holders.
The holders are easy to clean and I find that a quick wipe with a damp cloth keeps them looking good although the fact that they have a lustre shine to them means that they don't always look like they've got fingerprint marks all over them.
Good value tea light holders which I would recommend
