Advantages: Great for cleaning glass and shiny surfaces
Disadvantages: None
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WINDOLENE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Windolene is a fantastic cleaning product for glass and shiny surfaces. It very effectively disolves grease, lifts off dirt and leaves a sparkling dazzling streak free shine.
The Packaging
~~~~~~~~~
Windolene comes in a 500ml see through plastic bottle with a blue and red sprayer cap. The cap can be locked in the off position for safety. The bottle clearly states all the necessary details regarding the product and it can be recycled.
The Product
~~~~~~~
Windolene is a clear liquid which can be sprayed onto glass and shiny surfaces for easy cleaning. It can be used on windows, mirrors, tv screens, windscreens, fridges, taps and worktops, and many many more areas around the home.
It smells quite strong however the smell does not linger after you have used the product.
To Use
~~~~
To use this product simply unlock the nozzle. Spray sparingly from at least 25cm. Wipe off with a soft dry cloth or paper towel and polish. Always remember to lock the nozzle after use!
Any Precautions?
~~~~~~~~~~
This product is fairly safe, however as always it is recommended to keep ANY cleaning products out of reach of children. Should the product come into contact with the eyes rinse immediatly with clean water and seek medical advice if necessary. Avoid contact with marble and finished wood surfaces. If accidentaly spilled wipe clean immediatly.
What do I think?
~~~~~~~~~~
I love this product and after trying a few of the cheaper brands I love it even more! I find that spraying this on and immediately rubbing it in with old newspaper, then polishing with more newspaper is the quickest and best way of cleaning glass. I find the smell quite mild compared to other glass cleaners and it certainly does what it says on the label, clean and shiny glass and surfaces in no time!
Windolene is available from supermarkets and shops for roughly £2.75 for 500mls and I find that 500mls lasts a really long time so its pretty good value for your £2.75!
Summary: Great Glass cleaner

- 03/08/09 Interesting review. I use a commercial window cleaner (Nilco Nilglass) in a trigger spray: £11 for 5 litres and - in my humble opinion - at least as good and perfume-free too. |
