Windolene Emulsion

Over the years I have tried quite a few of the new spray window cleaners and even window wipes but I'm afraid I can't get on with any of them! I always end up with smears all over the windows no matter how hard I try. So ... I go back to the old fashioned Windolene - you know the thick pink stuff with the strong smell it takes a while to get rid of. It's actually called Windolene Original Cream and is for 'glass and shiny surfaces'. It comes in a very plain pink plastic bottle currently costing £2.15 for 500ml in Wilkinson's. No one in our house could relax last week as my daughter was sitting exam number 64 out of 65 on her final journey to become a vet. With this in mind I set about some late spring cleaning - Kim and Aggie would be absolutely thrilled, and it helped pass some time for me, at least giving me sparkling windows from which to view the world!
