Advantages: Not too expensive, effective

Disadvantages: Could Smell Nicer

Let's be honest, cleaning windows isn't the most exciting of activities, and (depending on their size, and how many you have) it can also be rather time consuming.

There are those who argue that the traditional cleaning methods are the best - e.g newspaper and vinegar - and in fairness, that is a good way of getting glass sparkling - but it sometimes isn't the most practical procedure. And that's where Windolene 'Glass and Shiny Surface Wipes' come into their own.

Available in a pack of 20 large wipes which cost £1.78 from Tesco, this product promises to;

1. Dissolve Grease
2. Lift off Dirt
3. Leave a streak free shine

The wipes are contained in a blue sealed 'sachet' where you peel back the label to remove each wipe. The sticker can be then stuck back down to close the opening and stop the product from drying out. It's the same system we have come to expect from nearly all household products which come in 'wipe' form.

When used on windows, Windolene is extremely effective. I've found that if you clean in a circular motion, then you won't leave streaks, and the finish will be better. The smell is hard to describe and is rather chemically - it's not the most pleasant aroma, but at least it smells clean.

I highly recommend this product, as it makes cleaning windows an easy process. It's not too expensive, and i've found it to be more effective than the cheaper supermarket brands which can streak.

Summary: Excellent Product

Great review. I miss the old Windowlene cream - Ive used hese wipes before and find they're great for use in the car especailly on the rear windscreens. They're also handy just to buy if you need something in an emergency.
