Wood Silk - Beeswax and Non Silicone but not so natural (Wood Silk Furniture Polish)
Member Name: Idas
Advantages: Brings out nice colour in furniture Disadvantages: Acrid smell, brought out a horrendous allergic reaction in myself
Went to Tesco looking for Beeswax, no solid preparations but spotted this Wood Silk spray which seemed to give the best of both worlds- convenience with natural beeswax. Used it in my hall way brought out the colour of my sideboard nicely. It has a rather acrid harsh smell/sensation when you spray it. An hour or so later I started itching- thighs and armpits. Showered but the itching continued, over next few days a red nettle still rash came out over most of my body eventually becoming confluent, my thighs were swollen and I weighed 5kg more. My lower arms and legs got sporadic involvement also, felt lethargic and a bit headachey. Summary: I would avoid this product |
