If you have read a couple of my previous reviews you will know freshly washed laundry is one of my most favourite scents in the world. When I was introduced to Yankee Candle products and I spotted this particular candle I knew I had to give it a try and therefore shall be reviewing today.

The above website is not the only place you can purchase this scent. The wax tarts and samplers are available from Clinton Cards and can be found cheaper especially suring sales. There are various other websites offering Yankee products at similar to lower prices a google search can reveal these. Of course there is also instore if you would prefer to personally sample the scents before purchase.

I buy from a website Yankee Doodle during their offers and postage and packing is just £2 which I feel is an excellent price. Other websites may vary.

*~* Packaging *~*

I bought a few items from the website and they came well packaged with bubble wrap in a brown box that was not able to fit through the letterbox.

The items are well packed with any glass being bubble wrap protected and each item individually identified.

*~* The Scent *~*

This is said to be "Sun-dried cotton combined with green notes, white flowers, and a hint of lemon", this is not how I imagine clean washing to smell and to be honest I can't individually detect the lemon. The white flowers are probably the most prominent. However mixed this candle gives off a wonderful powdery scent that is fresh and clean, the colour is white which gives the effect of cleanliness. Even whilst just sat it has a fairly strong aroma to it and once lit in the beginning this is released into the room. I didn't however find that this filled the room at all like some of my other candles have which was a disappointment as it is such a lovely smell but without scenting the room this is pretty useless. I do find it has a very lengthy burn time, especially for such a small offering, 15 hours for such a tiny price is excellent in my opinion.

Overall although I love the scent of this but I am disappointed by how little the aroma travels, I do love how much you get for the money though and with a price tag as tiny as what you can pay for this particular candle it is definately worth giving a try. I'll award this 3 stars purely because of the scent and despite this not so great sampler I still love Yankee and will purchase from them again.
