Recently I have been purchasing a lot of the Yankee Sampler's and I didn't really have anything to put them in when using. I normally order my Yankee product from www.yankeedirect.com and they have a range of accessories on here as well as candles. I browsed the range of miscellaneous items and saw that they do Holders for the samplers. Although they had lots of designs I wasn't worried about getting anything too fancy, so something plain and simple would suit me fine. I found a clear glass holder which was very plain and simple and at £1.99 I thought it was very reasonable value. I purchased this along with some samplers and waited for the products to arrive. I believe you can also purchase this from the Yankee Direct store on eBay for around the same price. The glass holder is made from clear glass and has no design on it so it is very plain. Its 6.5cm tall and 5cm in diameter so can fit a sampler or even tea light in here with no problems. The sampler fit into the holder nicely without being too tight. The sampler is easy to light when in the holder due to the length of the wick that most of the sampler have. As the sampler burns you will get some wax around the edges of the holder from where it has obviously melted. Even when the sampler has burned for a few hours I don't find any problems lighting the sampler again even when it's half way down the holder.

The sampler is easy to remove from the holder; how-ever I find it easier to remove when the wax is slightly soft otherwise it can stick to the sides of the holder a little making it harder to remove. If wax does get on the sides of the holder, I simply wipe it with some kitchen towel when it's warm and it comes off easily. As the holder is made from glass it can get quite warm/hot as the sampler burns down so you do need to be careful when handling this. As the holder is made from glass it can be washed in warm soapy water once it's cooled down. I haven't washed mine yet as it's not that messy due to me wiping it whilst the wax is slightly warm still. As the holder is made from glass it does mean the wax comes off the holder quite easily even when it's dry. Although this is a very plain looking holder it looks nice when you have a few of these together or lined along a shelf with samplers in as you can see the colour of the sampler through the glass. In terms of value I can't complain about this product as it's strong and does a great job of holding the samplers. I would recommend this product to others especially if like me you tend to buy samplers more than the candles in the jars or the tumblers.
