I burn scented candles regularly, and particularly like the Yankee candle range. I have tried several of their vast range of scents and Country Lemonade is one of my favourites.

The candle comes in tart form, tealights, and the traditional housewarmer jars in 3 sizes, 3.7oz, 14oz and 22oz. They are also available in the newer style tumbler jars. They are available from card and gift shops, numerous online stores, and there are also many ebay shops selling these at fairly competitive prices, it's worth shopping around as the can vary in price by quite a lot.

I purchased the medium 14oz jar for my kitchen, from an ebay shop at a cost of £13.99 including postage and packaging. I particularly like the housewarmer jars, they are easy to use, there is no mess of wax and really like the traditional, quaint little jars they come in. The candle is pale, creamy lemon in colour, and the label shows a picture of fresh lemons and a traditional Lemonade jug, and describes the scent as 'The perfect summer refresher with its bright lemony aroma and just the right touch of sweetness'.

I would say this description is pretty accurate, the scent was very fresh, and smelled of zesty lemon with a hint of sugary sweetness, taking away the usual sharpness associated with lemon. It smelled good enought eat. It is perfect for a kitchen, I think, as I hate anything floral scented in my kitchen, and I found burning this for an hour or so eliminated any cooking smells. The smell is strong but not overpowering, and several people commented on how lovely the kitchen smelled even after it was extinguished, as the scent lingered for a while afterwards.

I burned this almost every evening for approximately 1.5 hours at a time, and the candle last around 2 months, these jars are expected to burn for 65-90 hours, so again, quite an accurate description of burn time.

I will definately buy this again for my kitchen, it's a really lovely fragance and although pricey, worth every penny!
