This has to be my all time favourite smelling candle from the Yankee Candle company. It's a bit of a toss up between this and the amazingly crisp Macintosh Apple but I think this one just pips it for me. 

Yankee candle is a delicious blend of juicy, sun-rich melons, berries and citrus. Yankee candle call this candle a festive summer party full of fun and I would say that this is definitely a perfect candle to have burning during the summer. I bought this one to have outside on my decking and I think that's the beauty about these candles, that they are robust enough to be used outside and that they last being left out during the unpredictable British summertime. 

This candles is a gorgeous yellowish colour, it's quite an orangey yellow but lovely and summery and bright. I think it really looked great on my decking during the summer and because of the lovely bright nature of this candle it was decoration enough on my table and we didn't really need any flowers on there when it came to entertaining. On the front of the candle is a picture of an absolutely amazing looking fruit salad with lots of skewers containing perfect juicy ripe looking fruit, better than any fruit salad I could make, it looks like something I would love to eat and combined with the smell of the candle I can almost taste it myself. The candle is lovely and fruity and juicy smelling. You can either leave it unlit with the lid off to smell the amazing fragrance or lit and have the wonderful smell drift over you. As it was outside we lit it most of the time because the smell of just the unlit candle obviously does not smell up the outside as it would in a confined room. 

This particular Yankee candle fragrance comes in a number of different candle shapes and sizes from tea-lights to wax tarts but I have it in the medium jar casing. I am a big fan of the Yankee candle jars as I think they are a decorative piece in themselves and a great way of displaying a candle. The jar is made of a thick glass and is see through so you can see the lovely yellow/orange colour. This medium jar is said to have a burn time of 90 hours and I would say this is probably fair. I am about half way through this one and so am now saving the rest for next summer, great value in my opinion. 

Yankee candle say that the, "14.5oz Classic Housewarmer jar candle reflects a warm, relaxed sense of style that's always at home. Convenient and easy to use, these long-burning jars provide hours of true fragrance enjoyment." Definitely a statement I agree with and this Fruit salad candles give you a lovely fruity fragrance for your home!!
