Advantages: lovely smells, lots of variety, good quality

Disadvantages: bit pricey

My love for Yankee Candles started about a year ago. Ive always loved candles but i dont burn all my candles i have ones i burn and ones thats for decorative use only lol, One day I was in a petshop with my mum on one side of the shop they have cardmaking stuff and candles etc when iked into the shop i could smell the lovely aroma from all the different smells i was immediately drawn towards them they didnt have much in the lines of the big candles they just had the little ones and the tartlets for the oil burners i was in my element picking up all the different ones and smelling them taking in a nostralful of each one mmmm they smelt gorgeous they were selling the tartlets for 50p each and the little candles for £1 i bought 4 of the tartlets for my oil burner as i kept forgetting to buy oils for it and most oils you get smell boggin'
as soon as i got home i put one in my oil burner i think the first one was midnight storm the room filled with a lovely aroma and the handy thing with Yankee Candle Tartlets is that once your tealight candle goes out the wax that has melted in your oil burner goes back into a hard wax so you can use them again and again anyone who came in my home commented on the lovely smell from the yankee candle tartlets. ive had various different ones since ive had buttercream which is a sweet smell i have that sitting in my bedroom, strawberry this one was too sweet strong smelling to be honest the strawberry one made me feel a bit sickly with it being so sweet smelling but my friend liked the smell so it was made use of, cherry blossom i found this one quite nice smells a bit like marzipan or battenburg cake, daffodil i bought this one for my friend she absolutely loves daffodils its her favourite flower and she told me she loved the smell it gave off in her home, At the moment im using Home Sweet Home in my oil burner in my livingroom when its burner is smells a bit like aftershave for a bit but gives the room a lovely aroma and in my bathroom i am using cucumber and cantelope this one is a really nice smell smells fresh that oil burner is only has a small plate but the good thing with using the yankee candle tartlets is you dont have to use the whole lot got can cut a piece off so you dont waste any it does crumble a bit when you are breaking it off but if u hold it over the plate then it crumbles into the oil burner plate it says on the tart packet one tart = 8 hour of fragrance
it is advised that only use one whole tart you dont really want to use more than one cos once it melts into an oil it may spill over the side. dont add water to it the oil that melts from the tart is sufficiant and warm with unscented tealight candles which u usually pick up a packet of them for about £1 in poundshops never warm the tarts on the stove but unless you dont have any brains and are daft then you wouldnt do anything like that lol

I like yankee candles if im in any shops that stock them i cant resist having a sniff around them all can spend ages sniffing candles lol i feel that they can be a bit expensive the big candles but really your paying for quality and yankee candles are good quality the aroma from them is really nice and they have a wide variety something for everyones taste

They are lovely to have in the house even if you dont want to burn them you still get a lovely smell of them they are also a nice gift to buy a candle lover i'd appreciate a yankee candle as a gift

all in all i dont think i woulda bought them if i didnt get the tartlets for 50p id prob paid £1 for it but i have had a look on the website at the candles and i do feel they can be a bit pricey but as i said a little while ago you are paying for quality

Summary: lovely smells
