Fills my room with the warm fug of Christmas! (Yankee Candle in General)

Advantages: Best scented candle I have tried...by far!

Disadvantages: Expensive!

I was bought the 'Christmas Eve' large jar candle for Christmas by one of my pupils! WOW! What a present, it was worth all those hours of sweat and tears - def the best of my teacher prezzies!

It is a glass jar, about 15cm tall, with a glass lid on top of that and about 12 cm in diameter. The jar is filled with red scented candle wax and has a thick wick running through.

It supposedly burns for around 110-150 hours and although I haven't timed it - I do believe it really will last this long. We have had it on all over Christmas and we aren't even halfway through!

It has a lovely rich spicy smell, apples, cranberries and cinnamon! Yum. This scent of these candles is superb! It fills my entire flat. I have had a lot of scented candles and this is the best by far, nothing can match it, very strong and a much nicer smell than the Christmas plug in we bought!

This one has a lovely large sticker of Santa on the front too, so very festive and will look lovely with the traditional decorations.

I was shocked to find that these cost £17.99 from the Yankee Candle website. It does seem a lot for a candle, but then, the quality outweighs anything else you will try, so I think I will be tempted to try another when the Christmas debts are paid off!

Would reccommend that you go for a smaller, cheaper version if you want to try them out. Or, look at QVC as they have some packages on there that will save you money in the long-run!
